The way you mixed in the audio from the demo parts was super clear and was really immersive, I got a great sense of what these pedals are capable of.

Thank you! That’s what I was hoping to create when deciding to bring my zoom H5N to capture the direct signal whenever possible. It wasn’t always possible but boy was it impressive when I was able to. You really hear what I was hearing at that moment only better because I heard it plus the noise floor of people at the time. 😅

Those pedals look like a ton of fun. I especially loved that pitch shift trick they can do. Thanks for the video.

Of course, I was happy to! Thanks for taking the time to watch. I really loved that trick too and glad that in sharing the demonstration you got to see the sneak peak of what these pedals can do along with me. The delay ping pong got me everytime while editing 😝

Right? I was skeptical when I first saw articles about these as you can’t hear what’s being described to then convinced with Tom explaining and showing how the patch cables work at the booth. I’m curious how the distortion they have planned will function with the patch cable expression eventually in the future. Also thanks so much for watching

GCA always has the cool outside the box stuff you'd never realize you wanted until.

Yeaa even looking at that sustainer pedal and the Bigsby expression pedal are such out of the box approach but brilliant executions

Aren’t they Sean?! At first I was on the fence about them when I first saw the articles but ya this is pretty neat and exciting new approach that sounds really fun

@@PedalPlayhouse They really are. Your video is the first I am seeing of them so I had no notion of them previously. I could see how a word picture may not really do them justice, though. They sound really really good. Great interview!

@@Sean_Plays_Guitar yea, in making this I added the text and graphics to hopefully visually communicate better what’s going on because with interviews and demonstrations it’s talking but sometime really understanding needs a bit of visual picture to get what’s being talked about. I’m glad it helped.

I am both excited by the possibility of patching in dynamics information anywhere in the pedal board while also not able to think of how to use that effectively

Haha right? It’s not too much of a deep dive to get the hang of. It definitely was interesting how to use it around fuzz pedals to still retain dynamics

Thanks Peter! Ya when I walked up I had trouble understanding because I do not have a modular background but with his explanation I understand at a basic integration how this could be a way to test the waters of modular through its integration this way.

seems like fun possibilities with those pedals. I have a plasma pedal and it's built like a tank.

Nice! It really does, I really loved the potential with the Delay the most. How do you like the plasma and use it texture wise? We didn’t get into the chorus but curious how the patch expression was with that one. that was my first experience in person with their pedals but I’d seen some demos of the light pedal when those came out.

I like the plasma best on bass sounds and the eq and mix help dial it in. The idea of these pedals makes me want to make some patches in zoia🤔 @@PedalPlayhouse

@@basementlyle Nice, Thank you and I am curious to see how close you get with replicating this idea these pedals have with Zoia
