This is really unimportant but did anyone else notice how he plugged the IEM in backwards at 10:00? hahah.. I wasn't actually looking to buy these but I enjoyed the review nonetheless! :-)

Is it possible to remove the mic on the kimura solo. I was trying and it’s tight. I don’t want to break it. But it doesn’t say specifically if you can remove it or not

The mic itself is not removable. You can however remove the whole cable and use a different MMCX cable!

@@BaxTechYTAny suggestions like program to clean up the audio? Maybe a piece of hardware like a sound blaster?

@@jcap8391 You could try a 3.5mm to USB C dac/amp dongle and get a USB A TO C if you don't have a USB C port on your computer. The apple dongle is quite good.

They are pretty nice but if you are really worried about a mic, I would just get a dedicated boom mic before this solution if on PC. If on console this is a pretty good product. But for PC, kind of like headsets, you can't get a very compelling option with a built in mic if you are looking for the best sound quality and image you can get from dedicated headphones and mics. Same thing goes for iems. When I used this product got many of complaints in discord for background noise so I could see that being a issue if you have a load keyboard or general environment. Tried to tune it in obs and still couldn't get it to get rid of all the background noise. Not terrible, just not that great either. Fair price though just not competitive enough to suggest as a main solution for me personally. Good quality video nonetheless. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment! Couldn’t agree more. In most cases, a separate xlr or USB mic is going to be the winner here. But I do love having just these and removing some of the clutter from my desk. For noise, they’re definitely best in a push to talk situation if you’re play m&k. Unless you’re running through some type of interface to add a noise gate and compressor

I plan to use it while on transit. I am going to hide the mic under the mask to reduce some of that background noise. Tws suck imo.

Where this really comes in hand is laptop gaming around the house or out and about and still having a free ear! So freaking perfect for a little rocket league comms in an airport 😂.

How is the longterm comfort? I currently use the Steelseries TUSQ and I can't wear them for more then 1 hour before my ears are sore.

I don't have experience with the Linsouls, but I would highly recommend these over the Quantum 50's. That being said, the 50's are great for a cheap pair of earbuds
