Really enjoy your review style. btw, if you want to have less movement in the blade after hard use, just take out the pivot screw and put Loctite Blue 242 threadlocker on it and screw back in. Make sure you have the exact tension you want before it dries. It is still removable but now takes considerably more effort. I've heard of people using straight up superglue or epoxy, but I wouldnt want to gunk up my pivot screw. You probably already knew this, but throwing it out there in case ya didn't.

really wanted the g10 on both sides !!!!! there is g10 on both sides of the g720 but I understand to have the frame lock perhaps not possible to get full g10 anyway.. but damn, if only !

+TeslasLoveChild It's probably just style over function, someone pointed out to me it's a clone of a much more expensive knife- the Lion Steel SR1. Although it's hard to tell what kind of lock that one has.

+ Wavester64 This knife is awesome. You'll know it the second you open the box. Some people think the weight is a bit too much- but I think it's an asset. It makes you think you can do anything with it! Tied for my current favorite blade with my Endura 4.

👍 Awesome vid Knife Bro! It's rare, but great, to see honest reviews on “shitty Ganzo” knives! I always have derogatory things to say about cubical dwelling, self designated, “superior knife experts” (snobs). You sir, are a knife bro, not a cubicle dwelling knife troll. I personally have 4 or 5 Ganzos that I use on a regular basis (not for cutting boxes, batoning, or fidgeting) and I have zero complaints.

Anyone with bad things to say about the brand are salty about either the brand being Chinese, or the fact that they used to produce clones of popular knives (not counterfeits, and you can still get most of them for example, this one is a copy of a lionsteel Sr22 or something close to it.) But they make very high quality ultra budget knives. I love the ones I own. I only wish I had known they planned to stop making autos....I would have bought 2 of every model. Kicking my self over that one still.

ganzo's are nice, i want to get one but all they make is super heavy folders that end up staying in the drawer . make a sub 4 oz folder!
@AdvancedKnifeBro
9 жыл бұрын
They are nice knives. Perhaps a bit overbuilt- but yeah it'd be nice if they made an endura-light knife. Well lighter. The 3.3 oz seems anemic by comparison.
@Voltermort

yeah man definitely seems that way. 3.6mm blade thickness? That's crazy. 2.5-3mm is more than adequate.
@Voltermort

Cheap intro level knife companies with no unique style of their own yet though always do this. Look at schrade ruining all their knives with 5mm thickness.
@AdvancedKnifeBro
9 жыл бұрын
+Miles Papineau I remember when a $15 or under knife though used to be a light weight dull wobbly unsafe piece of crap. You get a lot more (weight included) for your money nowadays. But yeah it's a heavy knife. This is more a sheath knife, so it would have been nice if one was included. I'll still carry it in my pocket though. Maybe my standards are too low.
@martinaee
9 жыл бұрын
***** Yeah.... I'm more of the mindset of still being amazed that for 19 dollars you aren't getting a POS here. If it's heavy but still a hard use knife then we're good to go. Which of the other Ganzo knives would you recommend. They have so many. It seems this one is one of the higher priced of the bunch so maybe it's towards the higher end on their quality spectrum?

+Joe Laf Someone also said it looks sort of like a Benchmade Auto spike too. It kind of looks like a little of both. Yeah it's a decent knife. I don't see any longevity issues with the knife. It may have to be sharpened slightly out of the box- some people report razor sharp, and others report kind of dull.

Don't have that one yet. I'll say this- I haven't been disappointed in the quality of any of the Ganzo knives. Sometimes people get a badly QC'ed sample here or there, but all of mine have been super top notch. Best bang for the buck knives I've ever owned, maybe except the BudK Kukri.
