I also can remember, up until recently, that "budget" meant garbage. For me, "budget" was literally a one and done use. The steel was so bad that once it dulled, you sharpened it and 1/4 of the blade steel is now missing. So basically after the first real sharpening, the next time it needed sharpening I just threw it away. Now for $25 to $45 you have a plethora of options that are very wonderfully done with quality components. The "budget" knives of today are now literally the midtechs of past. It blows me away just how well done these budget lines have become. Anywho, great video as always and thank you for sharing.

I think it is a great knife for all the reasons you stated. I really like their Firebirf knives as they are designed in house and not supposed to be anyone else's. We can vote with our wallets . We should support them on these as they are good knives with good actions and materials. Great review I have to do the same thing with my pinkie but I don't mind. At that price it gives me something I can lend without worry.

I wish they'd make variants of the FH21 , different sizes (sort of like the Honeybadger ) and maybe some options in scale patterns or material but they would have to leave the blade shape alone for me. It is one of my favorites in the FH series along with the FH41, FH51., and most recent FH71. The 21 and 51 almost disappear in my pocket. I like when you can carry them and forget they are even there until you need them.

If you like to fidget with your knife, the 21 is hard to beat, but the 41 has that straight handle and is thinner bte than the 21. Both are really good budget knives though. There aren't many liner lock flippers you can get for $25 that are better done. I hope Ganzo stays on course with their original designs.

I like Ganzo-Firebird, I think there's 5 to 10 just off the top of my head that I'd like to check out.... That one there looks classy. I like some of their "copy-ish" ones alot. And please explain to my ignorance what the FH FB etc whatever is please

When you mentioned it was attractive it is due to the design being stolen by Ganzo from the "WE Array" Ganzo does a great job at taking license of others property.

I'm.. looking at the Array, and beyond a bit of a similarity in the outline, I'm not seeing it.

I'll still take my KA-BAR Dozier. I'll spare you the comment showing my full hatred for Ganzo and their reputation but even putting that hatred aside the Dozier is still a better knife because it can take more abuse than a Ganzo ever could
