Odd how so many 67-69 barracuda's have been turned into race cars instead of the streets. Nice find, my 69 CUDA was being transformed into a race car as well when i saved it. Restoration is going fine but as a chevy guy i found out real fast what parts for this model cost. Nice to see another one coming out of hiding and going to be used and seen by others again.

This is Frank Elliotts 68 B/MP car. It was featured on CBC television, I think the show was "Take 30". I should know. I worked for him for 5+ years then bought his business. This was the coolest car at the track..and I saw him run many a 10.00 pass on several occasions. I travelled to Sanair one year with him. I was there when the car left Burgoyne Street in the early 80's. I actually have a piece of the original block. I later crashed my 65 WO51 Dodge in 1990 at.."The Park".. I hope the next owner does this car justice...I will be watching...Teddy.

Hey Mike, Chrysler made 55 BO29 Plymouth Barracudas in 68. I don't know where you came up with 18. It seems like you found this in Canada, so maybe 18 of the 55 cars made went to Canada, and 1 of 18 was a 4-speed. Please note this isn't meant to criticize, only correct.Over the course of restoring this great find, I'm sure you'll learn much more about it than I know. Good luck in your efforts in bringing back this awesome piece of Mopar history. Evan

Thanks Mike

That one was here in Guelph Ont. It was being run by the local Canadian Tire franchise, it was called the Nautilus. It then ended up in ownership of a fellow by the name Craig Right , who ended up in jail and the family farm went up for auction along with cars on the property and this is where i lost track of the Nautilus.

I had a fraternity brother in college who had one of those a few years newer. His dad bought it for him new when he went away to college. He neglected it and never serviced it and drove the heck out of it and the engine blew up. He was too afraid to tell his dad so he just left it parked at a house where he lived. When he graduated he told his dad that he'd been walking and hitching rides for four years because he blew the engine. His father laughed and asked him why he didn't take it in because it was under warranty? Today, that guy is a CPA in charge of billions of dollars.

Man what a find! You can tell there was a lot of love and passion in this car but its owner probably died or became incapacitated and his car was shoved into his dumbass moms garage and her not knowing the real value probably let it go for nothing by the vultures that showed up one day. There are two things that grab my attention when I watch this vid. One is "where did you get your little midget?" I have a friend that wants to buy a midget so bad he cant stand it and they are so hard to find these days. The Second thing is WHAT IS UP with the down-spout on that house? That fucker was at least 4 feet short from the ground! WTF?
