Non musicians c reating an original song.(No samples) Starting from scratch. Doesn't mean a non musicians cannot make music.

Very very good dude!!! I’m in my mid 40s and have been into death metal since slayer than Kept looking for more and more heavier music. So I found the suffocation internal bleeding which we got to know because we were a band who played a lot of shows in the tri-state area we played with biohazard snap case internal bleeding hung out with unleashed and dismember before Cellblock burned down than our band Broke up. And high grew apart from everyone got married had a kid now live in East bumble fuck PA. I have always been an android guy but for some reason I bought an iPhone 12 promax and this was on it and it’s a pretty steep learning curve for me. Because I was using things like fruity loops android and other programs like that so I have a hard time trying to set things up with this program app whatever. Have no clue where to start. Are usually start with a crazy drumbeat and then add OK guitar riff and my writing style is very much like Carcass in the criticism discanting the insalubrious as the riffs are so unpredictable and I would stop house parties playing along w that album as I’d put my own flavor along w the songs. Any suggestions where I should start to learn how to get the the sound also tuning low as I’ve always played super low. Can’t read music I just have “Perfect pitch” . Also with this app on the guitar I can only hit single notes no power cords although I can come up with some pretty cool single note riffs it’s kind of hard to make a song like that. It’s just very confusing any thoughts by greatly , again VERY VERY well done!👏

Hey thanks for kind words dude!! Also feel free to spread it around and to check out the other tracks I’ve made. To be honest with you dude I’ve been songwriting on GarageBand for a few yrs now and it’s so finicky and to be more honest i can’t explain what I do just through this comment I’d have to show you in person it’s a bit of a process considering this one song took me months to make especially since everything is midi. But what I can say is that it’s better to edit everything in rather than playing manually on the GarageBand drum kit and guitar and bass especially if you’re wanting to put in fast technical riffs and drums at that point almost have no choice but to manually midi everything in yourself. In order to do that start by record anything on the guitar and then press the three bars that show up to the left of the stop and play button to view the track and tap on it to edit the notes and then that’s where you manually midi everything for all instruments
@Attached-data1
3 жыл бұрын
@@nathanieldamarelos Ahhhh.. I got ya. I have very limited midi exp as growing up we used very basic 4 track recordings and mixed it on spot in the studio we used. Very primitive. I can understand why it takes so long doing it using midi. Many more steps and processes, processors. I played around with FL studio when I had an android phone and that was easier as you picked an instrument, opened up a window where it had a loop where you’d hit a note for each drum kit piece like hi hat i would mix up going from opened like two beats per measure then the next would be closed 16 beats per measure and then I would do off time four r beats per measure (Just an example) and mix it all up same with the bass drum the snare occasional symbol here and there. And then I would add a guitar and bass. it was like a keyboard layout where you would just use like a piano key for each note of the guitar and then you could layer each notes up to create a power chord or intricate single note riffs. Now that I have an iPhone It seems much different than on the android and FL studio was pretty simple for me to use. Thanks for responding! I’ve listened to a few of your songs and they’re really good. Very well done.

I only have issues with the hard rock guitars because when I try to edit them, they get bugs. You gotta be a trooper to work your way around them, though, so hats off to you! It sounds goddamn epic! Personally, for me, I like the retro wah since I can go below the low E string and can go higher on the 6 string without them cutting out :/ But that intro tho was the BOMB!!! I thought my orchestra stuff in metal with trumpets & strings sounded decent (good at best), but damn, I need tips from you sometime! And slow part was pretty good, too, my stuff gets mildly aggressive and doesn’t change pace all that well.
