Tradescantia zebrina (misery) is a plant reserved for interiors.
Its fleshy, almost succulent stems are tender, they fall back when the misery is cultivated in suspension.
Poverty tends to see its stems become unbearable and elongate without branching: cut just above a beautiful leaf the stems become too long
