Why these sugar apples have black color/scale around their stem.
@gardenflorida
3 жыл бұрын
Those sugar apples I think were not sprayed with a water hose when they first developed, since I bought them from La Vang, my own home grown sugar apples I would not allow that as I watch them everyday and I would wash off and remove any scale I see with water. But La Vang also owns another 50 acres of land near their farm thats all sugar apple, so I just believe that they sometimes cant take care of all and some sugar apples develop this blackness.-- Although it is just a cosmetic defect the fruit on inside is still edible.

If you touch these fruits, they turn black...their protective powder is being destroyed by touching...same with some other fruits, on trees or at the market...some farmers don’t want people walk far inside their gardens as visitors love to pamper the flowers and fruits

Hi. what is address of the john painters?
@gardenflorida
3 жыл бұрын
I am not sure honestly I just drive there by memory, but it’s inbetween Stanley’s mango 🥭 and Fruitscapes LLC, during mango season he will put out a big sign (John painter) on the road and it leads people from the road to his house, that’s how I found him so I am not sure of his address.
