That particular kit was by "Orbit"... 5/8" x 3/4" hose repair/mender kit. Home Depot had them at the time (only as a kit) but sometimes you can find just the individual ends (either male or female fitted end) separately. Hope that helps you out.

Excellent. To those who are reading the comments, if your hose end is really stiff, soak it in warm water first and leave it in the sun. This process will make the hose end more receivable for the part. You can also lubricate the inside hose area and the part with dish soap or kids bubble soap to allow for easier penetration of the female end "kit part." Make sure your hands are dry though before trying to wedge it in.

HOSE or Mender Size is Always the Issue. Years ago they worked, so i know it's not me. One just Too Large other Too Small = leaks.

If the size differential is too much, yes, that will work against you. Even if the difference is small, it can sometimes be the style of clamp used or, as the weather seasons shift, the contraction and shrinkage of the connecting joint and materials can begin to eventually fail. Thanks for stopping by :)

What is a Bibcock?
@notyouraveragejoe855
Ай бұрын
Another similar name or at least in purpose to a bibcock is the spigot, spout, faucet, valve, water outlet housing, etc... it's the mechanism attached to the end of the water pipe. The primary function of a bib-cock is to regulate the flow of water. With a simple turn of the handle or lever, you can control the water force and flow capacity. In regards to my video, the spigot or bibcock has a "male" end, that's where the water flows out from the pipe. The "female" end of the hose (what I repaired in the video and show on my thumbnail) is what fits over and attaches to the bibcock. I hope that clarifies your question, good luck on your repair.
