Amazing that you can garden at night! How do you see what you are doing? BTW, I laughed out loud when you did your eye roll and grimace about forgetting to power wash the fountain. You have some fantastic dramatic flair! Don't get too down about being tired out, you got so much done. You are doing great with all that is on your plate. Those little ones, a house, husband, garden, and KZitem channel to care for, standing ovation goes to you.

I love how you just move a plant without hesitation. You definitely know your garden. Hello to princess Amelia and her KZitem cameo. The butterfly conversation was priceless. Enjoy your vacation!

Your hard work is seen and is paying off!😊 Gardening and doing other chores as a wife & mother can seem overwhelming at times which your doing great at amongst when you get tired. I can completely relate, lol.😉 I thought I was the only one who did gardening at night, haha! 😁I was planting my annuals 🌹🌻around my mailbox on 4th of July night until midnight. I was determined to get them planted in and looking pretty the next day. My husband says I am crazy about my plants, but I love having color and pretty flowers to look at in my yard. It gives me peace, enjoyment, and time to myself in creating my perfect oasis! I have enjoyed watching you and how much your garden🌺 has grown!! So lovely & pretty! Many blessings & love from Georgia😘, Joy

I have been scanning the clearance racks of the big box store and finding some real bargains. I have started a garden bed of clearance plants to see what I can create on a low budget. It is a fun project and since you don't know what you will find there is no real plan. It should be an interesting result. I am not a fan of the basic daylilies either but that purple is beautiful. I love my liatris, it comes back beautifully each year.

For your fountain, I recently saw this product recommended D/2 - it's a biological for the algae stains - although your pressure washer worked well. d2bio.com/about Personally, I use one of those floating spa containers with bromide tablets. It looks a little funny floating around in there sometimes, but I've got used to it and it keeps the water clean and clear. I hope you're able to get the fountain resolved. *sad face* Maybe you could paint the entire thing with a concrete sealant?

If anyone deserves a vacation it's you, my friend. You work so hard and take care of so many others. Say, I noticed your auger gave you a hassle in the beginning. Jenny at Gardening With Creekside said she and Laura get their augers from Power Planter so I checked out their website. There was a video of a gentleman from Australia demonstrating how to use their augers. Very informative on drill basics. But he also showed how to prevent the drill from stopping suddenly. That hibiscus. Oh my! I'm going to try growing it again. Maybe the Proven Winners have improved the longevity of theirs. In the past, I may have gotten mine to grow two seasons. I really love the bubblegum petunias. Enjoy your time off.

Hello, enjoy the video! My husband made mention that you can mosquito spray around the yard and your plants and it will stop the mosquitos. I have used it and it works all year, it's around $10 bucks. Also he said paint on a mixture of portland cement and titebond 3 glue mixed with water for the fountain. You will not have to clean it again for algae and it waterproofs it as well, adding a little sand to the mix for fixing the cracks works great. Permanent and cost effective.
