Great going Bren, get those flower dollars 💵 going 😁. When do you think you’ll start planting in your relatives garden? It’s the ideal time to shift trees and plants so hopefully they’ll do fine. It’s freezing here, but we are getting some nice sunny days mostly 14 degrees Celsius, but yesterday was supposed to be 17 degrees but I don’t think it made it and next week we will have a couple of 16 & 17 degree days as well. It’s freezing at night and in the backyard most of the day and inside also lol. The front gets most of the sun. My bulbs are emerging so that’s a start. I will have to make a video soon 😂.

@@downunderveggiegardendiaries Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! I'm really excited to start planting in my relatives' garden in about 3 weeks. I just need to buy and install the drip irrigation first. It sounds like you're experiencing some chilly weather on your end with temperatures hovering around 14 to 17 degrees Celsius during the day, but it's great to hear that you're seeing signs of spring with your bulbs emerging. Yay !! 💛 Making a video about your garden progress sounds great. I'm sure many of your viewers, including myself, would love to see how your garden is coming along. Xx Thanks again for your kind words. Happy gardening! Bren 😊🌼🌱

Howdy Bren! You and hubby have been super busy. I'm glad to see your plans are going well.👍 It is good to see all the tear down isn't affecting the girls. 😃 I grew straw flowers for the first time this year. It was nice to see the botanic garden. 😃 Yes, show us more of the gardens in your area.😃👍 Take care!💕

Thank you for your kind comment. We had a wonderful time in Sydney, finding it so relaxing. The chickens dont seem to be affected by the renovations, which is a relief. It's delightful to hear that you grew strawflowers for the first time this year. Did you enjoy them? If there are open gardens in my area this spring, I'll try to get permission to record them and share with you all.

The way I GASPED when I saw the tree and your garden currently 😆. I’m sure it will turn out absolutely perfect, but what a change! We are having a horrible grow season here in the northeastern states (cold snaps, heatwaves, excessive rain). I wish I could purchase from your side hustle, but I gather shipping would be complicated. You make such lovely arrangements! Good luck with the renovations and garden planning. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Those paper daisies were stunning!!

Thank you so much, Danag. Your kind words mean a lot to me, very sweet of you to say that you would purchase flowers if you lived closer by. It sounds like you had alot of challenges with the grow season in the northeastern states this year. The weather sounds all over the place, sorry to hear that. Hopefully your Autumn / Fall will be better for you. Bren 🌿😊

All the best of luck with the reno's Bren, I'm sure the garden will end up being wonderful after all the building works finished. Goodluck with the seedlings, should be a great crop if they all take off. Haha, talking of dying off, that's most of my seedlings lately, fingers crossed for spring but I'm behind already so it's not looking good mate. Take care, stay safe. Seeya Rob. ....I love my Gravilia's.

Thanks a mill for the well wishes Rob! I really appreciate your support during the renovations. I'm excited to see how the garden turns out once all the building work is done. Hopefully it should be finished this time next year. Seedlings can be a bit tricky sometimes, can't they? Sorry to hear that most of yours have been struggling lately. I know how you feel, at least we have Spring coming that start fresh. Grevilias are truly stunning plants, and I can see why you love them. They add such beauty and character to any garden. I really loved the one with the lilac flowers, so pretty. Take care and stay safe as well, Rob. Here's to a fruitful gardening season for both of us. Happy gardening! Bren 🌱 🌸

You've done a massive clean up of your garden Bren. Bet you can't wait to get it back to how it was. Reno's are worth the sacrifice. Hope all goes well. I couldn't get paper daisies to grow last year either. All gardeners win some and lose plenty.

Thank you so much Cheryl for taking the time to watch my garden video and leaving such a thoughtful comment! I really appreciate your kind words about the clean-up efforts. It's a weight off my mind that the area is now prepped for the builder. I agree, renovations can be challenging, but in the end, they are definitely worth the sacrifice. Hopefull it will all turn out well and we will have a more functional home. It's comforting to hear that I'm not the only one who had trouble with paper daisies last year, thanks for sharing your experience with us. . Gardening truly is a journey of ups and downs, successes and failures. But as you said, all gardeners experience both wins and losses, and it's all part of the learning process. I wish you all the best with your gardening endeavors as well! Let's keep on trying and experimenting, as the rewards of a flourishing garden are immeasurable. I hope you have a lovely weekend ! Bren 🌼🌱

Hi Bren. I hope the lemon tree survives the move. Since you’re not sure if you’ll lose the tree did you consider grafting a branch or two or propagating that way you don’t have to start from scratch. Anyway, I’m praying the tree will survive. You are a brilliant gardener and you’ll do fine. Good luck with the new additions and who knows, maybe this will inspire an even more beautiful garden. Until next time 🌿🌸🦋

Hi Karen, Thanks for your thoughtful and encouraging message. I really appreciate your concern for the lemon tree and the great suggestions you provided about grafting/ propagating just in case. Your prayers and kind words mean a lot to me. XX I'm excited about the new possibilities with the garden in our new location. Change can be challenging, but it also brings fresh opportunities to create something pretty. I'm looking forward to experimenting with new plant varieties and designs. Thanks again for your support and encouragement. I'll keep you updated on the lemon tree's progress and the garden's new developments. I hope you have a beautiful weekend. Bren 🌿🌸🦋

Hey Bren, let's cross all our fingers and toes for both your trees surviving their trauma!! But itll be worth it in the end. 😃👍 Where do you find the time for everything? Ive been trying to find time for weeks to just get some seeds sown!! You're amazing !! Nice to see you got some 'down time' though, to enjoy a rather large garden. Beautiful! Cheers ❤

Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for your kind words and support! I'm hopeful the trees will pull through. The builders did a great job moving the lemon tree, so far so good ! 🤞 Finding time for gardening can be challenging, but it brings me so much joy. I try to make time whenever I can. Once the days start to get longer I'll be able to properly get stuck into my patch in the evenings. It's hard at the moment because it's dark by about 5.30pm which isn't much time after work. Glad you enjoyed the garden tour! I hope you have a beautiful weekend ! ❤️🌱⚘

Hi Brenda love the video 😁👍💜I was just wondered what tool you used to cut the branches on the tree as I need to do the same on one of my trees that my dog chewed on 🥴

Hi Teneal, thanks so much for watching my garden video and I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊💜 To cut the branches on the tree, I used a flip pruning saw that I bought from Mitre 10. It cost me $30, and although I can't recall the brand name, it has an orange handle. It's a handy tool for pruning and should work well for dealing with the branches your dog chewed on. Good luck with your tree! Oh I nearly forgot to say that I only use the hand pruner on largers branches, for others I use a lopper.🌳🌿
