Love how fast you talk. I have been noticing on TV shows how most actors wear sunglasses that are much too small for their face. It'd be cool to see a breakdown and commentary of popular character's glasses choices.

I think that frame size looks great on you, not too small at all.

I got a pair of GL Van Buren Combo from TK Maxx for £24, less than $30. Happy with that, though would definitely not give full price for them, especially, as you say, 'Made in China'. I noticed that last week, when they were £32. But at £24, I can live with it.

“These sunglasses are $110, I don’t think they are even worth half that! However I did pick these glasses up for $80 and at $80 they are definitely worth that” what? 🧐 You still got a thumbs up though 😊

My optician told me Garrett Leight owns the factory in china and his team oversee the quality control. I tried the Broadway sunglasses today and they felt great.

I know several opticians and they say they costa about $30 sunglasses they sell wholesale/optictian for $120/$150 and then they get slapped with a $400 MSRP Legit a 10 x mark up on these their are dozens of better options

Here is what a friend in the industry said about Garret Leight: “Yes, the miter joints of the hinges are done with absolute technical perfection. This prevents the hinges from stretching or pulling out with time. Every pair is hand riveted and made with standardized components making repairs easy 5-20 years down the line. They are made the way Oliver Peoples used to be made, but now that Lux owns OP, the quality is trash.”

You put them down for being made in China but Moscot are also made in China, Oliver peoples and Maui Jim are made in Japan but I don’t hear you slating them in your reviews.

Japan build quality is some of the best in the world! Japan and China are not even close to the same quality in the eyewear industry… I guess just because they are close to each other you assume so..

@@ShadeReview I’m well aware of where both countries are and if you think everything made in China is inferior quality compared to Japan then you are mistaken, China is well capable of making high quality items just as Japan is capable of making poor quality items it just depends how much you want to spend and as I stated Moscot are made in China and they are very good quality. I’m fairly sure Oliver peoples and Maui Jim are not manufactured in Japan for quality reasons.

@@fillthomas When it comes to the eyewear industry yes it does lol. Just ask anyone in the industry almost all of the Chinese sunglass come from the same 12 or so factories... I can pay the exact same company that makes Moscot $25 USD a pair to use the exact same sunglasses that Moscot sells they will put my own label on it and everything lol

@@ShadeReview By that logic, everything owned by Luxottica is crap then. Because they make or assemble in China. Including Persol. LOL.
