@Truth Seeker don't confuse skill with personality. It's easy to project negative qualities on someone you don't like, but Kasparov is without question one of the greatest players of all time, regardless of metric. However, he is, by most accounts, a bit of an asshole, and admitting his brilliance as a player does not take away from his shittyness as a person. TL/DR: keep up the justified hate on Kasparov's person, but don't insult your own intellect by calling him a mediocre player - because your know very well that such claims are nonsense :)

I thought the move was Black Castle takes White Bishop on e3. Pawn takes e3. Bishop to b3 (threatening the white castle on d1). So white moves his castle from d1 to e1. Black moves Queen to c4 check. White moves bishop to c3 to block. Black Knight takes c3...and black should win from there....did I miss something the game went ahead with Black moving his bishop to g3?
@DaveNeve
4 жыл бұрын
Karparov should have played on for a couple of moves as any slip up by Hikaru would give him counterplay and black rook takes white rook is perhaps NOT the best next move for black (I think Queen to D5 is a better intermediary move) . All that to say that in rapid games, some players give up a bit too easily for my liking,
