I met him in Afghanistan Thanksgiving 2009 when he came with the “Lt Dan Band” to entertain the troops! I have a photo of us together when I jumped up onstage!😊he has the kindest eyes.

I saw Gary for the first time in True West costarring with John Malcovich. A truly great performance by both. Very hard to find today, but extremely highly recommended. If you find it, you'll be better for it. Thanks for the service to our veterans Mr. Sinise.

I saw him in Grapes of Wrath, before it went to Broadway. The man, when standing completely still, was so compelling, you couldn't take your eyes off him. Perhaps the most intense Listener, I've ever seen on stage.

This showed us that if you have a dream (Steppenwolf), then, even though you are out in the suburbs, and have no money, but you have some friends who share your dream, then you can move mountains and change the world! Wow! I was just so surprised. What a story. Thanks for sharing.

He was good playing the Hero in "the Stand" and also did a good job playing the Villiian Roles in "Snake Eyes" and Ransom. I didn't really watch CSI: New York, so I don't know him in that. I heard he is a Conservative although I think his roles seem to be more Progressive- "the Grapes or Wrath and MIce and Men., etc.

He saw Of Mice & Men *at the Guthrie*?! My home territory, and you can bet we were proud of the Guthrie then! It went downhill later, but was a national treasure for so many years. I saw Jessica Tandy, Hume Cronyn, Len Cariou live... I hold Gary Sinise in high esteem not only as an actor, but for his work for the military and vets. The man is a true arrow. We have his book, looking forward to reading it.

he doesnt strike me as super partisan or extreme. rather than espouse his views he has used his platform to give back to our servicemen and women. i wish more on all sides of the political spectrum follow his example.

Keep in mind. These interviews are edited, so that the length is about an hour. That may contribute to the rushed feel.

Actually , now that I've watched the whole thing, I am convinced it it just poorly edited. The whole segment where Sinise is explaining about the beginning of "Of Mice and Men" and the American Playhouse "Grapes of Wrath" is really confusing.
