Reminds me of when I took the '61 Impala rag top down to bare metal when I was young and didn't know any better. I tied my Dad's garage up for two years on that one. Still trying to figure out whose brilliant idea was to have children while building a car. But like I said when I was younger and didn't know any better.

Back again, that 66 fast back had a huge area of the deck lid that factory filled with lead. Never knew they did that.

Nice work dont forget that rust inside the door behind that patch. I saw forget the paint and clear the bare metal. It should be lighter that way

Reminds me of a dirt car I used to watch back in the 80s. Same car, but for dirt oval racing instead of drag racing. All the trim was taken off, everything was smoothed off, it was one nice looking car. I should have tried to buy it. It raced in the "unibody, no frame" class, and was "worn out" so the driver got another car, but always liked that one.

There is a roller in Columbus that the fella removed his engine trainy and it is tubbed. It is patina and looks like the one you filmed in Georgia. $4500. Is this a good price for a gasser?
