Here is part of the demolition of the massive Gates Rubber Company in Denver, Colorado. Some considered this factory to be historic and worth saving. Many others considered it a giant eyesore. In the end all was demolished except the giant, steel, water tower. This factory dates back to 1911 with additions to the factory added in later years. Closed in 2001, the old factory was a magnet to trespassers, homeless people, and explores. One young girl fell through the roof of the building falling 45 feet while exploring. This was a extremely slow demolition taking several years to complete. Today this is some of Denver's most valuable land and it has yet to be developed. Filmed in 2013
