That's good to know about the customer service. I feel a little better about spending $487 for my 2024 Ram 2500 Gatorback mudflaps from RealTruck. They are nice but seemed a bit pricey.

They are pricy but they definitely stand behind their product. I've been very happy with mine. I had to remove my front ones when I jumped up to 35" tires because they rubbed the mudflaps, I really miss them on gravel and trails.

@Lily-oz2dq, that's awesome! Do people comment on your mud flaps while you're out and about?

Hi Jacob, unfortunately the kick back brackets are now made of aluminum and can not stand up to the weight of the flap or withstand all the flex and twisting. I am on my 2nd set in a 2 1/2 years. They keep cracking at the radius that puts the flap back the 1 1/2 inches. Brian

@briangoodchild350, interesting, thanks for the feedback. Are you off-roading heavy and loading them up with thick mud or dropping off ledges and pulling the flap back? I haven't broke a bracket yet but had one wrap up under the front wheel when backing our camper into a spot. I was able to bend it back into shape and re-install it without breaking.

Those offset brackets were installed when you purchased. Im trying to install the same ones on my truck. Do you have tips on matching the inner bracket holes so I dont have drilled holes everywhere. Im having a hard time installing the offset brackets to the inner ones.

@daniellavictoire9108, try having someone hold the offset bracket in place then use a marker and mark your existing hole locations from behind the inner bracket. Then you can drill out the offset brackets to match. I would suggest at least three mounting points. I've started to bolt the lower mounting point on so it doesn't pop out on the trail.

They're still holding strong! Would your universal flaps be compatible with my 79 Bronco? Do you offer universal brackets? I'd like to add some protection from gravel.

Jake how did you mount the front flaps? I have a 2.25 level on the front end with a 285/70/20 on the front and it rubs really bad

@Keith Whitburn, I'll be honest these mud flaps were already mounted when I bought the truck. I do know that the mounts I have are the "Lifted Truck offset" to allow the rubber flaps to sit back an inch or so to prevent rubbing. Where is it rubbing at, inside or outside? On the mount or the rubber flaps themselves?

@@jacobsupgrades they rub on the mount seeing I didn’t want to drill into the pickup it’s self

@@whitburn584 A 35" tire is a pretty good size for a 2.25" level on an F150. Are you running stock wheels or are they aftermarket with a little negative offset? Where your tires rubbing the wheel wells before hand? Have you had an alignment since mounting those tires and level? Shoot me an email and I can provide you photos of how mine are mounted with self tapping screws.
