There is a 1969 film titled "Sword of the Valiant," which VERY loosely adapts this story. Its not a good movie, but it stars Sean Connery as the Green Knight, wearing an outfit with a circle cut out of it to reveal his chest hair. And frankly thats almost worth the price of admission. I don't see why he didn't tell "The Lady" about the deal on the first night, say he was going to ask Bertilak because communication is key, then just ask Bertilak on night 1 if he could get down with his wife. He would have been able to sleep with "The Lady" during the day, and The Lord at night. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! I mean, come on Gawain, the dude was clearly into you and just constructing elaborate rituals so he could kiss you. To paraphrase Elanor Shellstrop: ‘Why not? More guys should be bi, it’s [2020], it’s like “get over yourselves”.’
