Ingredients:
3 pcs squid
2 cups breadcrumbs
1 egg
4 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp paprika
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Oil
Mayo for dipping
lemon (optional)
Procedure:
1. Prepare the squid starting with removing the head by gently twisting halfway then pulling it slowly for the ink sac to come out. Discard ink sac.
2. Peel of the skin and remove the fin. To prep the squid head, remove the eyes, etc.
3. Slice squid into rings and transfer to a clean bowl.
4. Seasoned with pepper, salt and paprika. Add cornstarch and egg. Mix until well combined.
5. In another bowl with breadcrumbs, transfer the seasoned squid rings. Shake it a few times after covering the bowl.
6. In a well-oiled pan, put the coated squid into the pan. Do not overcrowd the pan.
7. Deep fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden in color.
8. Remove from the pan when golden and crispy.
9. Serve with mayo dippings and sliced of lemon. Enjoy!
