This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV4 and LV2 Kampfer. It is a 450-600 cost general with good mobility, a uniquely evasive boosting animation, a shotgun with incredible accumulation, bazookas with short cooldown and high damage, powerful melee with fast swap time along with sturmfausts that have high power. Its major weakness is that it has both low HP and extremely low resistances against ranged attacks. This suit was recently buffed to have more damage on the beam saber, faster swap time on the beam saber, more damage on the bazookas, faster cooldown on the bazookas, faster swap time on the bazookas along with getting LV1 EX Boost. I thought that this suit was strong before despite how hard it was, so I am a little bit surprised that it got a buff. I had a pretty short first life in the first round but the rest went really well, so I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon at LV4 is a shotgun with 201x15 power, 3 ammo, 4 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 1 second swap time, 150m range and 35%x15 stagger value. With only 3 pellets needed to stun this is an incredibly good stun and MA break. The reload time is sorta long but the cooldown is very short which allows you to get a lot of stuns out in a short space of time. The damage is extremely high point blank, so you can sometimes use this to pump damage on knocked over enemies.
Its primary melee weapon at LV4 is a beam saber with 2700 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and standard melee modifiers. The damage is a pretty fair 2100 at 450 cost but it gains +200 per level, which means you can do pretty insane damage with it at higher costs. It has a narrow downswing which can easily avoid friendly fire and is easy to confirm thanks to the swap time.
Its first sub weapon is a pair of bazookas with 1250x2 damage, 10 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 1.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 30%x2 stagger value. The recent buff made it so that these deal absolutely gigantic damage at LV4, but it still got a noticable damage and cooldown buff for all levels. This is a pretty ridiculous weapon since it is better than most primary weapon bazookas despite being a sub weapon.
Its second sub weapon is a pair of sturmfausts with 1725x2 power, 2 ammo, 25 seconds reload, 1 second swap time, 200m range and 30%x2 stagger value. These are incredible for using after a stun with your other weapons to add on gigantic ballistic burst damage and another stun. The reload time is long but is well worth it for adding a third stun to your kit with great damage potential. If you are confident you can use them without any stun first, but its best to use them after a stun.
The Kampfer has 130 walk speed, 205 boosting speed, 75 thrust and 66 turning speed. This mobility is further enhanced by LV2 Forced Injector, 100% strafing speed modifier and a unique boost animation that leaves you lower to the ground than normal. All of these combined allows you to easily avoid taking much damage at all as long as your positioning is on point. This comes at the cost of fragility. The LV4 Kampfer only has 16750 HP, 9 ballistic/beam resistance and 30 melee resistance with no buffer skills. Melee resistance is fine but the extremely low HP and ranged resistances mean that you are easily destroyed by any sort of concentrated fire. This fact alone makes Kampfer very difficult to play due to the demanding amount of positioning skill required. A not often looked at aspect of it is its unique counter. This has damage and knockdown time on par with 4 star counters. This does 3500 base damage that scales with melee and leaves them downed for 4.8 seconds, 2.9 of which you can act upon yourself. You have time to fire a point blank shotgun blast and then the sturmfausts afterwards, which should absolutely nuke any raid unlucky enough to be caught.
The recent buff also added LV1 EX Boost as a skill. This is activated via the touchpad and gives you infinite thrust, +10 boost speed and +14 turning speed for 6 seconds. Though tackling or dodging instantly ends it, and you are overheated for 21 seconds after.
Overall I feel like the Kampfer definitely didn't deserve these buffs. It already had enough stuns to have an overwhelming advantage against any suit close up, but now it is even crazier after the bazookas were buffed. It wasn't difficult to confirm knockdowns with the beam saber either but now it is trivial, and your melee output gets buffed to insane levels at higher costs. It is still a very difficult suit to play but in the hands of players who are good enough to use it I think the Kampfer will be pretty oppressive. It is another example of a hard to use but powerful suit getting buffed because the average player can't play it properly. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
