This video contains two recent matches I had with the Kshatriya on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost support with insanely high burst damage, heavy stagger ability, great stun accumulation, high mobility, access to the same Resist Move skill as the Sazabi FF and a special buffer for the binders which cuts ranged damage in half and nullifies instant staggers. Its main weakness would be its gigantic size, which can make it vulnerable to stunlocks despite its defensive skills. Despite already being a good suit, the Kshatriya was recently buffed. These changes were wide reaching and included buffs to melee resistance, buffs to the utility binders buffer, buffs to mobility, buffs to overheat times, buffs to stagger accumulation and the addition of the Resist Move skill. I was able to get really high damage in both matches but I made some silly mistakes in the second game. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The primary ranged weapon of the Kshatriya is a beam gun with 2300 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 75% heat, 14 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 500m range and 10% stagger value. This isn't anything too crazy but it is a long range instant stagger with solid heat and damage. It serves as an easy combo starter before going into harder hitting stuff.
Its primary melee weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 2800 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap and 150% downswing modifier. This can do a lot of damage and has become more realistic to use after the melee resistance buff.
Its first sub weapon is a chest machine gun with 50x2 power, 80 ammo, 510 RPM, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 300m range, 850 DPS and 3%x2 stagger value. This has good stagger value but isn't worth using that often.
Its second sub weapon is a quad chest beam cannon with 650x4 (1400x4x2) power, 75% (95%) heat, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 23 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 500m (575m) range, 4 seconds focus time and 13%x4 (16%x4x2% stagger value. This does not instantly stagger but has high stun build and damage. This grants you huge burst damage potential if used after your stuns. The charged shot fire wide converging beams with absolutely gigantic damage potential, but is impractical to use in most situations.
Its third sub weapon is a binder beam gun with 1500x2 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 600m range and 3.5 seconds focus time. Though it needs to focus, this has high power and heavy staggers. This is your ideal combo starter because of how easy it is to start combos with a heavy stun.
Its fourth sub weapon is a set of continuous beam funnels with 1000x4x5 power, 100% heat, 22 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 25%x4x5 stun value. This weapon has the best damage potential of all your choices but needs to lock on. After firing it deploys four funnels in front of you which fire continuous piercing beams. Depending on the terrain or obstacles around you they can group up tighter together or further away, so it is a difficult to master weapon. It also has incredible stagger power.
Its fifth sub weapon is a set of follow funnels with 300x6 power, 50% heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 300m range and 8%x6 stagger value. These are an amazing followup to staggers and can stagger if you overheat them or combo into them.
The Kshatriya has 26000 HP with 42 beam/ballistic defence and 20 melee defence. The recent buff has made it so that it no longer has the weakness of poor melee resistance, making you very bulky. This is further bolstered by a 15% leg buffer and 60% utility binders buffer. This binders buffer only works against ranged attacks but also blocks instant staggers and reduces stagger value taken by 40%. This makes you incredibly difficult to take out at midrange. You also have a chest i-Field while charging the chest beam cannon and LV1 Resist Move, which acts the same as a dodge roll other than not nullifying damage.
It also has 140 hover speed, 220 boosting speed, 75 thrust and 66 turning. This is pretty amazing mobility for a support, with it boosting as fast as the Hi-Nu Gundam. It has LV1 Forced Injectors as well.
Overall I feel like the Kshatriya is a little bit overtuned right now after these buffs. It is insanely durable in all regards if built properly and really hard to stun unless you can aim around the binders. The overheat time and stun accumulation buffs has severely reduced any issues it had with downtime to the point where walling out suits from getting close has become pretty trivial, even raids can have a hard time closing in at times. I think it has become the strongest 700 cost support, without any contest. If you have it then I can definitely recommend that you learn to use it, since it can be borderline oppressive on open enough maps. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
