What is gamification?
Gartner provided a good definition: It is the use of game mechanics to improve business processes.
Essentially, we take a routine task for the client and turn it into an interesting game, resulting in increased customer engagement and reduced company costs for motivating clients to complete routine tasks.
For which tasks is gamification effective? Training and onboarding clients in the use of a new product or service - in a game format, this process becomes more comfortable and effective for the client.
For developing the client or creating the desired behavior model in the client.
To increase client comfort during moments of boring waits, such as when clients are waiting for their turn in a bank branch.
Today, I will mainly talk about the use of gamification by banks, as banks are our primary customers.
There are various reasons for this, including the fact that, unlike a retailer, it is difficult for a bank to offer a discount to a client. Additionally, banks communicate with clients in digital channels, and they also have quite complex products with very dull descriptions.
