Another tip, if you ever pull the mag apart for cleaning or repair, take the opportunity to drill a small hole near the motor, about the same size as the straw on a can of wd40, then you can give it a squirt of wD40 before storing, give it a dry fire when you have finished using WD40.

Something that has happened regularly to my AKM47 and ACR battery operated GBR’s is the feeding tube and/or barrel of the gun itself becomes clogged with gels. Usually the AK will only fire upside down. The ACR won’t even fire. I’ve been told by one retailer that these rifles actually need to be fed with smaller balls - something I never hear about, but is the only way these battery operated blasters will work. Anyone else have this problem?

@fedzalicious
5 жыл бұрын
You can disassemble the mag with a small screwdriver if it's totally blocked. There's several small screws holding it together. If it still doesn't feed, or you can't hear the mag motor during priming, the motor is probably water damaged from the gels "sweating" out their moisture. You can get a replacement motor (they are inexpensive but will require soldering), but a new mag is only $15-$30. Another weak point is the electrical terminals visible on top of the mag. If there is any dirt or corrosion on the terminals, power may not be getting to the motor. You can clean off any dirt, or corrosion can be removed with a small piece of sandpaper. If all of this sounds too hard, just buy a new magazine.

Gel balls are not a one size fits all deal. Idk why the retailer’s keep ignoring this issue but many battery operated blasters like the AKM - 47 and ACR frequently have gel balls get stuck simply because they’re too big. If you find your blaster only fires upside down or not at all, I guarantee it’s not so much because of small dehydrated balls, but because of regular balls getting stuck in the mag, or worse, in the barrel. The retailers need to start acknowledging this problem.

Standard gels are sometimes too big for certain blasters, and is the main reason why they don’t fire - or the feeding mechanism doesn’t produce enough power. I'm assuming once you up the voltage that the feed rate is still equal to the the rate of fire that stock voltage was ? Obviously both motors are turning faster. Just for kicks you should overclock a mag with indipendent power, see if it'll fire multiple gels per stroke or if it just jams heaps badly haha.
@lowguidoschopshop
5 жыл бұрын
the mag always feeds more than the blaster can fire. the mag motor is a constant so it is continuously feeding gels at the same rate. the blaster only fires one round per revolution of the sector whereas the mag never stops. so the restriction on feed is the blaster itself.
