I am somewhat convinced that I want a Memory Foam Mattress Topper for my traditional inner spring mattress. If I like it... I may buy a Sleep Number Bed with this style top, or add it myself to a Basic Sleep Number Bed. My research tells me a 3" Thick and 4lb Density is the way to go to hit that sweet spot of comfort as well as Life Span resilience to developing permanent indentations in the foam. I have two questions though. 1. Am I on the right track? 2. Gel vs White Visco Elastic?

Are these gmf mattresses compatible with paralyzed quadriplegic who requires a caregiver to hoist him out of bed using a sling that would need to be positioned under the patient's back and attached to an overhead/ceiling lift? Secondly can these gmf mattresses articulate (bend) so as to raise the patient's head or feet?

In the clip you say that your gel-memory-foam is better than the "older beads infused memeory foam" Here in holland we have a company that started this month with selling mattresses with "BlueFlex" memory foam. It is sold also in the usa so yoy must know it. The site www.medi-active.nl/matras#tabs-3 tells us that this gel-beads foam has 12 times more air flow than normal foams.. Your foam has only 3 times more air-flow !!!! So beads are better for airflow !! Is there any comparison in the tests !!

Hi Teresa... thank you for your question! I regret I have no distribution in Australia however Costco has an excellent and cost effective Memory Foam mattress "in a box".

Everyone knows that memory foam makes crummy pillows ... and not really good mattresses. The salesman from my mattress store told me not to buy a memory foam pillow, and he was right ... they are either way too hard or way to soft.

justgivemethetruth I love quality memory foam mattresses but hate their pillows. Latex pillows with a good memory foam bed is heaven. I don't like the completely enveloped memory foam beds. You need one that is quality with a cover thay includes some foam in it. So you're enveloped somewhat but not suffocated and don't fall in. Like my loom and leaf. Has foam in the cover for slight cushion, then convoluted swirl gel memory foam with an actual layer of medical grade burn gel on top of it, and then a nice think piece of high density 5lb foam. Then it's followed by a transition and support foam. That's a great bed and it's all foam. One of the coolest sleeping beda around. Memory foam beds are not bad. Some of the best actually. You just can't expect to pay 300-600 bucks and get something great. You also can't overspend on a matress taht doesn't disclose its specs. I don't like Latex as a matress because it's to much of sleeping on it then in it. A pillow I want to push back a little because you need that support on your neck and neck nothing else forms with pressure but latex. On my matress I want to feel like I'm sinking in a little without push back. But I don't want to fall in either. It helps with pressure point relief. I find the ones that, intentionally, don't feel like your traditional memory foam mattresses but still are made of high quality memory foam are the best mattresses made. They retain some properties but feel like a mix between memory foam and traditional matress. Latex is to firm and bouncy for me. Hybrids are nice too. Coils and foam. They're some of the better ones too.

Yes very true... Latex Foam is VERY comfortable. A certain percentage of the population is allergic to Latex so for those people Latex is not the best option... thank you for your comments... cheers!

Very informative video however the music is absolutely terrible. It’s like watching a boring work training video from the 80’s.
