Watch as Marsha shares with us how to use a crayon resist technique to make detailed prints. She starts with a wax crayon, and rubs the crayon onto paper that is lying on top of some found textures. She uses placemats, stencils and hand drawings. Once she has created the crayon rub, she applies a layer of paint to her 5" x 7" Gelli Arts® printing plate and then presses the crayon resist paper into the painted plate. She then removes the crayon resist and pulls a print of the design left on the plate. Fun to think of all the unique prints you can create with this technique.
