Another great review! I've wanted to purchase one of these Gemloader binders for a while now, buy can't justify the shipping cost to Australia. Hopefully someone becomes a distributor of them here in the near future.

Here's an Australian Co. that makes toploader binder.

@@imperfectgamer54I'm assuming you're talking about the Palms Off product? I've looked into it, but it doesn't really tick the boxes for me compared to the Gemloader binder.

I've had my gemloader (4-pocket version) for a few months, and I've noticed that the plastic gets scuffed easily, and dirty-looking :( I don't feel like the plastic in the pages is too high quality sadly

You should check out the Dragon shield binders. They are what I have always used and I would be curious to see how they compare.

I've never had toploaders packed right side up so I don't understand why that's a positive on Gem Loader.

Will top loaders fit that are in top loader sleeves themselves? Great review and super appreciate it!

Bought from Gemloader after watching this video. But curious what the exact sleeve you're using with their toploader if not their pull tab sleeve?
@sleevenocardbehind
Жыл бұрын
I think I was using Ultra Pro Pro Fit Sleeves in the video. The pull tab sleeves are usable in the binder if you fold them but I found it kind of tedious.

Are binders like this okay for thicker cards, for example loaded in 75pt toploaders compared to 35pt?? If not, then do toploader binders for thick cards exist? Thanks
@sleevenocardbehind

I don't have a lot of experience with thicker cards since Pokémon rarely strays far from 35pt, but I do actually have a 75pt card on hand. It fits, but it's very tight, I don't know if I would recommend it if you plan on inserting/removing cards often.

@@sleevenocardbehind Thanks for the reply! Yes if the card itself barely fits then forget it being toploaded. I appreciate the advice, gonna give your video a like for the effort just to answer my question.

Now that you've had this binder for 9 months, i'd like to know your opinion on whether this binder is good for long term use. (I would also like for you to review the traditional sleeved cards gemloader binder.)

Hey thanks for watching my video. The binder is still holding up very nicely. No tears, so fraying, and the pockets haven’t stretched or anything. I do take very nice care of it though.

What do you think about guardian binder?

I haven’t tried on before but just looked them up. They look identical to many of the other top loader binders floating around right now, so it’s probably from the same Chinese manufacturer with a new brand name slapped on top. That’s just me speculating of course. If it is from the same factory, then the quality should be pretty good!

Hey, do you think double sleeving the cards and then putting them in the toploaders and binder will damage the cards over time due to the pressure?
@sleevenocardbehind

No, not in my opinion. I just checked some of mine that have been double-sleeved and toploaded for a couple months and they are perfectly fine.

Why dont the pages lay flat once theyre filled if its so great? I see all them cards in the first slot bending... and just because its the most expensive does NOT mean its the best... also u know u can fold that pull tab over right?

These look really nice but I’m not spending $50 for shipping and it still take 25 days to be delivered ti the states. I’m sorry but shipping isn’t nearly that expensive, this isn’t being shuttled from the moon I’m not spending twice the price of the binder I refuse to.

@@sleevenocardbehind Consider yourself the lucky one! I would say it probably also depends on how often and the method of handling the cards too. If yours are undamaged then you most likely handle them with lots of care man. :)

I think it may depend on the perfect, i use kmc perfect size and necer had a card damaged, not the played ones nor the ones that only sit in binders, but cheap and lw quality inner sleeves can danaga the cards

@@druidobianco9734 I get that! See mine were Dragon Shield which are supposed to be some of the best in the biz these days. At least their outter sleeves are fantastic. But I think with the vintage cards because of how old they are it's just more risky especially the English cards. Just weren't made as good as say the Japanese versions. Thanks man!
