I just got a 2002 one from an old lady with almost no mileage (30k km) and everything including engine looks brand new, no rust anywhere either. It did cost me 3k but I'm happy about it

I'm very glad for you mate. Sounds like a decent motor. Just bear in mind that even tho is only 30k on clock the components are nearly 20 year old so if its sat for very long without being driven expect to replace little bits like wheel bearings and few rubber bushes in future as the rubber bushes get perished with time. Hopefully not of course! With all that being said I wish you many many safe miles and happy trips all around! 🙏

I just got the maunal version, mk1, 2006.. 1.2 engine.. I dont know why, it might be me driving or trying to change the gears too quickly. But the thing that feels weird is when I am trying to change the gears. Once I release the accelerator, the rpms go slightly up... And it not even much, its like 100-200rpms.. and they go down immediately as I press the clutch.. It's like I pressed the gas as I released the pedal... (before pressing the clutch, so its not the clutch slipping).. Really weird... Has anyone had this situation happening to them? Like I said, it might be my driving, but I've never had this happen to me on any other car... Hopefully this made some sense haha...

Does your Mk1 jazz steering stick, it doesn't want to self centre whilst driving ?
@genchomoto3544
3 жыл бұрын
This isn't exactly a fault - it's because back when the first Jazz (GD) and first Civic (EP) with the shortened engine bay were introduced they couldn't accommodate enough castor angle in the hub due to the lack of space which mean that the steering doesn't return fully to the centre. It's just a design fault but it's not a sign of failure. It takes time to use to it if it's not stiff or notchy there is noting to worry about.

Thanks for the detailed review, awesome job! I like the idea of the Jazz! What is like driving on a highway with 140 km/h? This is my only concern as I actually think about getting one with 1.4 engine...
@genchomoto3544

First of all Thank you for your kind comment 💪. Driving on the motorway with 140kmh it's not terrible to be honest but it's not exactly a joy ride either. The sound proof is not the best so wind noise is going to be a big enemy for you with that speed unless you turn the volume of the media up. Also when there are strong winds you will definitely feel them because the car is quite light and there is some body roll as well. On the other hand driving with 140km/h on the motorway its pretty economical for what it is. If I have to rate it from 0 to 10 considering that is a small city car I would place it on 7. Hope that answers you question 👌😊

Why play that music!!!! You have an accent that does not help clarity, yet you play music over the top like 70's porn! Pity really as a reasonable review.

Thanks for the comment mate! :) Maybe we will make the music more quiet in the upcoming ones, we are always trying to do so though. But it is a very long video by default, what makes it difficult to watch, especially for newcomers, but without music it makes it actually even more difficult to watch.
