I think people rush into married life way to fast and not properly vet the relationship. It's more than just being in a relationship. In the modern dating landscape of unlimited options it is very rare that you find someone on your level. Once you've been through divorce court and have kids it will show you a lot of what happens on the bad side. Couldn't agree with David more on Switzerland..the Swiss really do it right. However, after traveling internationally, there is a lot to appreciate about the US. Convenience and autonomy are really something that sets America apart. I also just spent 2 weeks snowboarding in France and I will say the ski resort in France (not speaking for all of Europe) are different...especially how adults behave in lift lines. It is CHAOTIC - people rush to get on the lifts, push, ski over people's equipment...it was very stressful, pushy, and hectic. The US resorts I frequent in the west are far more orderly! But the terrain out in Europe was super fun.

Love these podcasts so much, I only have one fact to state that there's a lack of responsibility when people say "yeah I'm religious" and then behave and do things that are clearly not in the same path as someone really being a christian. If you are a christian you should not have sex with multiple women. if you are religious you should not get drunk, you should not swear a lot etc etc ... I am not judging anyone but it kills me every time I hear someone say "yeah I am religious" and then you see how they behave and the two do not match whatsoever. Saying you are religious is a huge responsibility towards yourself and to god, I think people take that word lightly.

I visit the US from the UK a fair amount and the grocery store is a great example of the amount of choice you can have on products is CRAZY. Until you see it you can't really explain it to someone. This episode not only completely changed my mind!🎉 I feel like I got to know him better and I Loved how you two were vulnerable while still maintaining your “masculine frame” which is difficult to do. As a woman who appreciates masculine men, 👏 You 👏 two 👏 did an excellent job at speaking vulnerably without being “soft and emotional” which is feminine energy 🧬, and without being cold and shut down (distorted or wounded) - which also isn’t masculine because it doesn’t penetrate. Healthy masculine energy has to be “receivable” 🗣️. I feel like this episode was masculine therapy 🙂 and you two both are great role models for men. 🪽Keep growing forward.
