I've been lucky enough to have met Sean McCann (lead singer of this song)! It was amazing and I thank God for the amazing privilege!

This is my new favorite version of this song. I thought the XX era was the best one. I thought seeing them live in 2010 and 2011 was the best. But this blows them out of the water.

Sitting on an island off the coast of Maine RN. Made it a point to listen to every version of this song. Sean (and GBS) are, in fact, THE version. Fookin' inspiring.

I do like this version. It's got more lyrics and interesting ones. The first version I heard was from Steeleye Span. This has more power!

Glad I bought this on iTunes. Makes the work nights go by better and the troubles of the day seem fleeting. Some days I want to toss it away and seek a meager living on a vessel, fishing or otherwise, just to smell the ocean air once more and savor a taste of freedom I’ve not long felt in my soul.

I was at this show. Actually I think it's the time that went backstage before the show and met you guys. I was with the label reps, and I brought my mom with me to see the show because she was a big fan too. You all signed a poster for her saying "Thanks Mom!" and similar. I don't expect you to remember. I'm sure you guys met so many people over the years. ❤❤❤❤❤

The best advice I ever got about singing live was "Plant your feet and tell them the truth from your heart" and Sean McCann does this every time he signs.
