Generalized Anxiety Disorder (aka GAD).
When struggling with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), we must learn to relate in a new way to anxiety and the symptoms and thoughts that come with it. However, we also must be aware of the meta beliefs and thinking habits that drive this automatic all day long anxiety. Sometimes people struggle with GAD because of underlying traits like perfectionism, overachieving, chronic worry or rumination, or the need to control and predict everything in life. It can be hard to address ever present anxiety if we don't also address these common but often overlooked drivers.
