Repentance leads to a new generational flow...the blessings go further than the curse for those that LOVE God... Praise God for His amazing grace and mercy...who sent Jesus to redeem us, while we were yet sinners. What an incredible, astounding gift!

There’s a AMAZING book called The Easy Way to Control Alcohol. It’s by Allen Carr. It’s on audible and it will change your view permanently. I gift it to anyone who will listen. ❤

As a Christian from a long line of “alcoholics”…including abuse issues myself, you will never regret staying clear of alcohol all together. You can say that it’s fine if you use it in moderation, but booze has a tendency to master us before we realize it. I watched my father ruin our family and drink himself into oblivion by my 15th birthday and I don’t think he realized it before it was too late. Alcohol works all too well to num the pain of an empty life…

Josh, I don’t think you’re doing this, but we must never blame moral sin on our genes. Never confuse what is caught with what is taught. When it comes to ways we are becoming like our parents usually involve “what we caught” I.e. the sin they roll modeled in front of us over the years.

In regard to that son who wants to reconcile his relationship with his father here’s a scripture that ties in to what the McPhersons were saying.. Psalm 27:10 - Even if my own father and mother abandon me, Jehovah himself will take me in.
