Devices like the Loupé (and its ancestor the Echoplex Digital Pro) can be overwhelming in the depth of their feature sets. Many users of such devices find themselves gravitating towards a smaller subset of functions and focusing on those, while largely ignoring others.
The flip side to developing a personalized vocabulary in this way is that it’s easy to overlook other functions that we don’t typically use, and might not think to explore. So this video hangs out entirely with a few Loupé factory “games” (aka presets), working with some highly curated combinations of very unusual functions, to see where they take us.
