Great lessons..great explanations. Thank you so much brother. Stephen. So, just to perceive the essence of Chapter-5 is ; Enoch walked with God and he was taken by God, which is a pointer to the upcoming event of rapture where those of us live for/with Christ will be caught up with him alive ( 1Thes. 4: 16,17)

Thank you for this lesson! I glazed over this chapter before because it seemed like a laundry list of names, but I knew it was important, so I went back. Your video-especially the emphasis on Enoch-really helped me see the bigger picture.

Whats the meaning of noha

Corinthians 15:22 says "For as in Adam all die ..." and John 3:13 says And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven....." Also, Hebrews 9:27 say "And it is appointed unto all men once to die..." Hebrews 11:13 says " These all died in faith, not receiving the promises, but having seen them afar off...." Enoch was included in the list. The word translation has another meaning because the phrase "they are not" means dead. It's all throughout the bible. "He is not" in reference to Joseph when his brothers spoke of the death to Joseph who had concealed himself from them, and other examples. So, Enoch did indeed die. All mankind dies, or God is a liar, which he is not. Death is physical as well as spiritual. Disappointed that yet, another teacher tells this lie of people not dying, but goes right to heaven after death, which is not true. The grave is where we go, until Christ comes and the dead will rise, as God's word says. No contradictions. Genesis also states that " all the days of Enoch," like all the others before, meaning he died, but died younger than the others. Some say God spared him from seeing all the wickedness that would get worse and prevail on the earth, and was spared the flood and all the death that it would cause. Enoch was spared to witness all the wickedness, because he was so righteous before God and it would affect him horribly. I find that a good explanation considering the other passages.
