I am thankful for the terrific performances and records Steve Hackett is releasing with Genesis revived, it is sooo close to the real deal. I was a staunch fan but I admit mostly of the pre-Abacab stuff. I listen to them since I am 13 too and I am 63. What a band - but this was a brave but sad, sad departure of one of the best group of all times. Icons. Thank you Phil, Peter, Steve, Tony and Mike. Wish you all the best Phil, I fear for you.

I owe my life to Genesis. I was 14 when I first heard Nursery Cryme and I was mesmerized and transported to a world far, far AWAY. I'm 62 now and love them even more today. Their albums carried me through some of the toughest times of my life, and some of most joyful. It's hard to describe exactly what they mean to me - deeply personal, spiritually cathartic and uplifting, and my imagination is fired up. Seeing the band sing one of the most beautiful and deeply philosophical songs ever written for the very last time in concert brought me to tears. Thank you PHIL for giving us every last drop you have left. I can never repay what Genesis has done for this kid. thank you Peter, Ant, Mike, Tony, John M, John S, Steve H, Daryl S, Chester T, Bruf, and everyone who gave their souls to this legendary band. To the ones who call it an end of an era. Legends like these, never end. Think like it as a new chapter instead of an end. As they say; "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Who knows what the future holds. They never fail to surprise us, and the inspiration and legacy they have is truly incomparable. To those lucky ones, who got to see them perform live, always cherish it and realize how lucky or privileged you were, because many would do anything to experience it. To those who haven't or never, don't feel ashamed, their music will always be apart of you, no matter what, live show or not, we all have our own ways of cherishing these legends, even if we don't got much. But honestly, A true inspiration these three were for continuing, and a massive thanks to the originals, for founding this legend of a band and taking part despite not being apart of it until the very end. Only sad thing, I feel about this, is how unfortunately bands like these wont ever exist anymore espically with how the industry has been, and the world has changed too, but atleast, we have some bands trying to get close too it. Wishing all the best for Phil, Banks and Rutherford, and I hope the future brings many great surprises. Real shame they didn't tour at more places, but they did what they could with the conditions they had. A sincere thank you for everything Genesis, and espically to Phil, and onto this new chapter we head too! Decades of inspiring, laughs, and passion, legends forever. A Legacy that will always be kept alive. 👑👑👑

My arc with Genesis started in 1973 when I was barely 17 years old, I went to see them without knowing what to expect. Boy, did that night change my perspective on them and Prog rock in general. The next year I saw them three times in Montreal and even crashed into a show, what crazy that was. But the Lamb show that year has remained one of my Top 3 concerts of my life, incredible. I did not see them until 1980 at Capitol theater in Passaic and the next day at MSG NYC, how amazing is that? But 1981 was also special, I had a difficult year but going to see Genesis inspired me to survive. saw them again in 83, 92, 2007 and this final 2021 swan song. Love Genesis forever!!🙂

I am a French longtime fan of Genesis - for 48 years- and I attended the very last show in O2, after the 2nd show in Birmingham. It was a very emotional time and I must admit I dropped down a tear during Fading Lights. My only regret is that Peter being here he did not join with them on stage for this song. I like everything in Genesis, their music of course be it before or after 1975, their resilience, their individual talent and their long lasting friendship and camaraderie. They are a model. Period.

An enduring mystery to all Genesis fans is why Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett walked away from one of the UK's most talented and best-loved rock bands at the start of their fame. Back in the 70s the UK had 4 thriving weekly music papers (As a youngster I worked on the NME in a very lowly position and diligently read the other 3) but none of the journos on any of them could be arsed to interview the boys to get an answer. But I love the fact that Phil Collins stepped in and kept Genesis alive. Thank god for Phil and the likes of Chester Thompson and Daryl Steurmer who also filled the void. Tony and Mike ARE Genesis but even they would probably admit that neither of them have the kind of stage presence required to keep a band filling stadiums for over 30 years. So glad this music was in "my day". xxx

Been a Genesis fan for 40 or more years their music has always brought me joy. Never managed to see them until this tour and it was mind blowing a truly brilliant show. This clip of their very last gig is emotional, their music will live forever as being one of the greatest bands of all time.

Cannot watch this without tears in my eyes .So part of my life from a very early age and to this day. They captured my soul when I was just a little kid SO many amazing shows over so many decades . So hard to believe this is the end of an amazing era of music . I cannot say enough Thank You's for always including us in the states when they toured The last show we saw on this tour was just as amazing as the first time I ever saw them in the early 70's I think I cried thruout most of it I will miss them forever .

A great legacy indeed. Very emotional to see this. And Peter Gabriel was in the audience. I never got to see them but always have those magical records.

Saw them Wembley 1987 when I was 13. So sad to see Phill looking so frail. A door closes on a band that truly stood the test of time. We salute you.
