What surprised me the most was that I found something that actually made sense. How are you sure Jesus "is the way and the last Adam?" I agree with almost all of the biblical Jesus' teachings, but I have no idea if he's the incarnation of the God and if he is the way. I am not one to easily place my faith in anything, possessing a thorough and healthy skepticism. I've experienced many 'miracles,' including the light, and I question them. According to the bible, I've committed the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the holy spirit. I ask these things not to place you as an equal to God, but as a person who humbly seeks understanding from someone who might be a little further along in their journey than me.

I was pretty skeptical too about the incarnation and it was mostly because I wasn’t willing to let go of what I thought I once knew about god. He is who he says he is. Who can come into the flesh sinless? Who can defeat death? Only god. If we know god is limitless and all pervading then its reasonable to say that if he wanted to he could concentrate his being into a single focal point and incarcerate through man in the world. How is Christ different from all the other ascended masters and enlightened ones of the ages? Christ owns this place. He’s not just a guy sent in to set the world in a particular direction (although He did do that), He is the heir to reality itself. what is the way to know the ineffable God of gods? there is no way, the imperfect can't comprehend it unless, God somehow reveals Himself in imperfection. This was done in Christ, and thus he is a dependent vector for "know". if you don't trust Him, then the only way to "know" Him, is through death. the truth can't be known, only trusted. This is the futility and doom of seeking to know God's name.

@@schizoheretic247 - thanks for your testimony and opinions. I've seen a lot of them echoed in the bible. Tell me about the "logical conclusion." What did that look like at the time?

@@ogpayne no problem man thanks for sharing your piece too. The logical conclusion that I came to was that when you examine the works that Jesus Christ did especially the sacrifice on the cross the only way that it be could accomplished was through god himself stepping into material reality in the form of man, no other force in existence can conquer death (sin) except god himself, that’s how we know he truly was god and not just a mere man because man alone cannot produce perfect works if he is imperfect himself. If Jesus was just a mere man the sacrifice could not be fulfilled along with many of the works Jesus did because he would be with sin. Man’s salvation required one who was sinless (fully god and fully man) for the sacrifice to be fulfilled, the absolution of all sin through Jesus Christ. only through trusting that all this happened can we receive salvation. “Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” John 10:37-38

@@ogpayne no problem thanks for sharing your piece also. The way I came to that logical conclusion was that the only way the works could have been fulfilled and us being saved was through god taking on the form of flesh. The imperfect cannot produce perfect works. Only god stepping into material reality could restore mankind from the fall of eden and defeat sin. The sacrifice could not be fulfilled by any other thing besides god ( the good ) because it is imperfect (with sin) and the sacrifice would fail. One of the ways we know Jesus Christ was god was because he lived a sinless life. He was the perfection that manifested itself in the imperfect realm without getting corrupted that’s something only god could do. “Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” John 10:37-38

@@schizoheretic247 - thank you for that. So, you believe Jesus is emmanuel from what I can see. Does that also mean you believe Jesus is Yahweh (YHWH/YHVH), LORD, I AM, Jehova, Adonai, the god of Noah, Moses, Isaac, Abraham, and Jacob?
