Once again you have proven to be the best gardening channel on KZitem. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've saw the trellis netting used to grow flowers that flop over but it never occurred to me to use it for peppers as well.

AS an electrician it makes me so happy to see someone using a pipe bender properly! Constant pressure on the shoe the part he was standing on to keep the pipe from flattening.

I just built this for my peppers and it is my first time using a pipe bender. For now, I am crisscrossing zip ties to hold the wood in place and it seems to have a snug fit so I will see how that works going forward. My daughter and I are going to make one for her pepper bed and then cover it temporarily to keep the wandering deer away. Thank you so much for your detailed instructions. After gardening for over 50 years, it's fun to learn something new.

It will be interesting to see how they grow through the netting. Also access to the fruits. Lastly how easy or difficult it is to remove them from the netting. It would be great if you lived in a climate where you can over-winter your peppers.

Luke and Dan, thank you for showing this easy to use idea. Saves much work for peppers and other like plants. How do you manage snails or slugs in your garden? I also want to know about managing aphids in your greenhouse?
@GardeningHomesteadingWoodwork
3 ай бұрын
Well we used to have a slug problem but don't anymore! Must be the beneficial nematodes doing their job ,te aphids in the greenhouse are controlled by ladybugs, hover flies,and earwigs,if we have too use a spray it's cold pressed near oil mixed with peppermint essential oil and bronners soap.

Do you rotate your crops in this garden? If you do not, do you do anything special to keep the soil fertile for future years? Excellent video! Makes me want to bend some old pipes I have from an old tent, they might not be thick enough, but it's worth a try :)
@GardeningHomesteadingWoodwork

No I do not practice crop rotation it's not necessary, best to apply good compost every year if possible and that's all that's needed. Blessings to you!

what type of weed barrier do you have on the ground, is it a certain named brand?
@GardeningHomesteadingWoodwork

It is wood sawdust from a sawmill or woodchips. Both of them work really well for the pathways. . Does that answer your question?😊
