Paul asked his son why he would want to sit there in front of his opponent and I can answer that question. I listened to his sons interview on a podcast and he said he loved watching the lightweights. Then he named a few that he really likes. Loma, Tank and then he talked about Kambosis. He likes aggressive fighters who make things happen. He has a great left hook and it is probably his best weapon. He reaches with the right hand from time to time because he likes to sit on that left foot. He fights off that left foot because he is looking to land his left hook. Baiting his opponent with a throw away right hand right hand because he wants his opponent to run himself into that left hook. Paul is one of my favorite fighters of all time and I have been watching these training clips all night. I think that Paul is going to be a tremendous trainer, maybe a better trainer than he was a fighter. His son is very very talented. Raw but talented. His son loves his father and will soak up everything his dad teaches him and then he will added his own little twist. The kid will end up being a boxer puncher. Moving and boxing in spots and sitting down and banging in other spots. He is going to love to exchange and he will want to end every exchange with the left hook. Very impressed with both trainer and fighter.
