McFetridge is a artist based in Los Angeles California. Born in Canada, he was schooled at the Alberta College of Art and the Graduate Design Program at the California Institute of the Arts.
In the field of Graphic Design, McFetridge won public acclaim when he was still a student, winning awards from the Art Directors Club and ID magazine for his student work. From 1996 to 1998, he went on to art direct the seminal underground magazine Grand Royal for the Beastie Boys.
In 2005 he co-founded the skateboard company Solitary Arts, and in 2006 launched a wallpaper and fabric company called Pottok Prints.
McFetridge continues to work as a commercial designer, recently creating the graphics for the film "Where the Wild Things Are" and designing wallpaper, carpet and blankets for the Standard Hotel. As an artist he has most recently shown paintings at Half Gallery, NYC.
