This BBC film was made by director Tim Slessor and reporter Micheal Parkinson when Best was 22 and at the height of his fame. It tells the story of his rise to fame and shows George to be an eloquent and confident young man with the world at his feet, but there are also strong hints that his playboy life style was already starting to catch up with him.
Featuring interviews with George, his parents and Sir Matt Busby.
A BBC production 1969.
