With psychedelics, if you're fortunate and break through, you understand what is truly of value in life. Material, power, dominance, and territory have no value. People wouldn't fight wars, and the whole system we have currently would fall apart. People would become peaceful, loving citizens, not robots marching around in the dark with all their lights off." - Gary Fisher, Ph.D.

Before I took psychedelics, I expected the visuals to be the dominating aspect from what people spoke of. Having taken them now to 'see' for myself, I understand psychedelics to be powerful learning tools. When you're ego is softened, you gain an omniscient perspective on any aspect of life that crosses your mind. I've learned far more about myself on a single 'trip' than what I've summed up and accepted in 21 years. I'm far happier in my day to day life now, and thankful taking the leap.

Psychedelics are such a huge driver for the modern masters of so many crafts, it's basically a protection against inflation hitting all those media conglomerates that they're considered Schedule 1. If one seeks to understand themselves and what they can do more fully, they're probably the best prescription.

You will know when you've completely awakened to the true nature of reality, which is as unique to each of us and can't be explained as it is exactly the same for each of us and doesn't need to be explained. I hope I've helped you on your path as you've helped me on mine, and I hope you will help others on their paths, too. Remember, we are one. I am you and you are me. There are many paths to acheive reality of the consciouness that we ARE all one. You are right about one of your points. Those who truly have been awakened would never talk about ANY psychedelic realization (LSD or otherwise) in the fashion that YOU have been. WE would never use divisive language to tear down someone's views/experiences in order to seem superior to those who are still on that path to realization.

When you experience an altered state, you are provided with a new point of view. This can be compared and contrasted with your perceptions that you experience in your 'normal' state, or point of view. So, in that sense, 'altering' can also be 'expanding.' We have two eyes to allow us perception of depth, and being able to draw upon more than one state of consciousness allows us to perceive more depth of perception in our overall experience.

@Elwood128 I would suggest practicing meditation and/or gratitude towards others and your self. The point of meditation is to achieve a state of "nothingness", which in it's self can be thought of as the "unknown", and when a person takes psychedelics they tend to see the "unknown". We are entering an age now where all of these things are a significant piece in order to become what were all destined to be. Some more that in others in reference to how slow or fast people can be, but it's inevitab

A paradigm shift is a great thing...you don't need psychedelics for that. The problem with any mind altering drug is once you are under the influence, you begin to live in an altered state and if you do it everyday, you quickly begin to move from reality into a drug induced false reality...problems seem bigger than they are..the everyday grind..paying bills, working, driving, raising a family become extremely difficult as your percetion and judgement become blurred...a very dangerous slope.

when these thoughts come up, don't EVER try and escape them. "fighting it" is what causes "bad trips" in the first place. these thoughts appear for a reason, it's because you've been running away from them for too long, and the mushroom has very little tolerance for bullshitting. mushrooms are not MDMA, but they can be (if the time is right). set and setting dude. considering you've done shrooms several times I find it weird how you seem to have no concept of just how important those two things are. opening the doors of perception (clear thinking, hightened cognition and all of that) is something that LSD does better than the mushrooms. mushrooms can be as well (McKenna famously said that the mushroom is anything you'd like it to be), but they're for the most part spiritual, therapeutical and emotional. It's a healing, nurturing, honest, positive experience, but only if you let it, only if you LET GO.

@Elwood128 What I believe is this: psychedelics can open door ways, and they have, as many people have reported. However, they can only open doorways if the person's intent in behind doing them is that of a "exploring" mind, a person who want's to explore the unknown and want's to feel how it is to come more in contact with God. However, it doesn't completely send them to a pure mind, or become fully spiritual, because if you were to look at it that way, what's the point of being here...

@KvalnirFox Yeah I agree with you completely on both points friend, but I think it says something about human nature that a meditative state, being one of the most beneficial and incredible things you can do for yourself, produces similar effects, at least visually and perceptually to psychedelics. It didnt surprise me, especially considering our pineal gland produces dmt in our brain every night, and birth and death etc. I just wondered if anyone else had noticed :) Peace

Regarding "reciting some lines", it can be hard to put psychedelic experiences into words to someone who never experienced LSD, or any psychedelic. Watch his body language as he tries. I'm sure his travels went much further than openening a "door". A TRUE psychedelic experience can't be explained comprehensively to those who haven't been through that "door" so the Huxley quote is used as a metaphor to simplify a much deeper reality of the of the one consciousness that we ALL are part of.

However, we all can reside on our own vibratory state, which creates a either positive, or negative energy around us, and with us. Thus, this affects what we attract, which includes: thoughts, feelings and actions. Although, this somewhat contradicts to the "theory" of the fact we are all connected, we still have freedom, our unity doesn't create a "jail" for us.

@TheHeavyMetalStew Technically speaking it's impossible for acid (as in LSD) to "contain" poison. LSD is a bunch of LSD molecules and nothing more. Poorly made batches aren't a problem either, since the amounts used are so small. There is no "shitty acid" in that regard. However, you might be talking about the phenomenon of other chemicals being sold as LSD on the street, the more potent phenethylamines in particular. Might be 100% pure - but different and possibly dangerous if dosed wrong.
