Met him once at a club in Los Angeles in the sixties or early seventies. We had just finished pissing at adjacent urinals and were washing our hands. He was about to do his first set and was new enough to be a bit nervous going on. He said he was a little concerned about the noisiness of the crowd and I told him I was sure it would be all right. Ha. I hardly even knew who he was at the time, and there I was reassuring George Carlin. He was of course brilliant onstage, and that was the only time I ever saw him live, and in fact I had met him even before I'd ever seen him perform. Thanks for the memories, George, and rest in peace.

If you are not a free thinker than the more I respect you, sir, because you know how find your way round those constraints and make you listen to stuff like the above. George is not trying to make anyone laugh. Sure he did when young, but as he grew up he stepped back to see the big picture used his old forum of comedy to say things that need to be said. I have to disagree, public school is not indoctrinating anyone...yet. Too much money to spend to do that. It is common core that is screwing up learning. George was ALREADY a genius. Anyone can learn to make use of public schooling and life's lessons, it is called critical thinking. George realized he could use this comedian forum to say what needs to be said without being ostracized or stopped. Perhaps he was 'stopped'...kids that do not learn how to use the system and become objective from the system are never going to be able to think for themselves. Took me a long long time to 'wake up' and then it was like all the colors I've always known changed.

There are too many glues to choose from. Brain cells are dying or almost dead. WTF!!! More people are getting murdered by guns, no gun control, by crooked poltiticans on all sides that have grown tails of a made -up devil , and all the religious righteousness, have created, cheated with pockets of pork money with a bridge to nowhere and more wars to make America great again. It is not going to happen. Nice morning to wake up with coffee and hear your voice. You told us the truth. Every word is perfect. Lahaina just burned, it's awful in Hawaii for people, but the are strong, winds and no water. It will take years to build back.We stole the Hawaiian Islands anyway form its people anyway. And screwed up everyone else's with lying about wars. AMERICAN HYPOCRISY!!!! DID YOU EVER READ Smedley Butler's book "War is Profit." Of course you did and America's history on all sides. What a brain you had!!!! And I miss you. Climate change and rains and fires, mudslides , hurricanes have grown worse, ice melting on both articas, and these idiots in power, we are going to have a shutdown on America's debt most likely. President Biden and Donald Duck, traitors with blistering lies, and the puppets on each are prancing and dancing and making people kill one another with rule markers, that has no lines or boundaries Narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths are running the show with everything made up by numbers by the elite of coorperations and bodies bearing in lobbies who gets the buck first. There is no money for the poor and middle class. Car are being repossessed because people have to choose now between a car and food. Everyone is striking and marching, (that's good) All the car companies, the writers union and Sag of Hoolywired. I think they are making a dent, still out on the car strikes. Another day in paradise.

I bought this book the week it hit the shelves. Last century, I believe. I could hear his voice in all if it. Great listening to it. Even better when you see him 'live': 3 times in the 90s. Laughing my ass off in the cat today listening to this. Miss his presence. He was good for people, even though he didn't enjoy them in organized groups.

aliacka54 he got all of this talking from other people. He's another talk show host making fun of you and everyone else. I bet you couldn't go through life using any of those morals without catching yourself. Infact he just took every good thing away that you believe in. Sounds like a person who got bord with life in it's self. He doesn't like you at all and the same with all the rest of the comedians. They make fun of you. A bunch of morons looking at you kid. Think about that.....
