Gnome or Troll? What the hell are you talking about it didn’t matter how tight or loose the ropes were. Ali knew that foreman has never really had a full length fight. It's difficult to understand why people say there is no God. How could they choose to believe all of what we have including this beautiful home world came from some cosmic accident big bang? When I look around I see what can only be creation and when I look inside I see a soul that has to come from God.
@todorkolev7565

@@vCLOWNSHOESv you see god because you are unable or unwilling to understand the underlying mechanisms. The world is beautiful to us because we evolved into it. We survived in it and mutated and thrived until we occupied the niche that we do today. It's like saying "why does this screw fit so perfectly into the nut, it must be god!". No, it's a factory worker and an engineer and an inventor that have planned and executed it this way. And I am not making an analogy to a "creator", I am making an analogy to "Foreman doesn't beat the shit out of people because god enabled him to do so (and what a terrible god that would be, if it were in fact the case), he beats the shit out of people because he's big, strong and mean"

@soliloquyguy6852
8 жыл бұрын
Tyler Durden All information is used as supremacist ideology? Really? Science therefore according to you is a supremacist ideology? Well at least it can be tested and theories proven. In that way it is superior to belief system based on ancient writings that are inconsistent, contradictory, and open to multiple interpretations. Jesus was killed for being a threat to Roman power as was hundreds of others who claimed they were the Messiah. Excuse me while I puke at your assertion about unconditional love for all beings which would include murderers, rapists, terrorists, tyrannical genocidal dictators. If you wish to love those types of people go right ahead that's your prerogative but don't expect to be respected or so certain to receive salvation for it. That's sick logic that's been ingrained into gullible kumbaya hugging Pollyanna morons.
@soliloquyguy6852
8 жыл бұрын
+Tyler Durden Excuse me but you do NOT know me from Adam (no religious pun intended), yet you have the audacity to judge me like you know me well and lump me as I suppose you blindly do all others in same category as known terrorists, rapists, genocidal dictators. Wow what a all inclusive sweeping generalization. If you are incapable of knowing the difference between 'wronging' someone without causing harm in legal terms vs the former then you are beyond help. It's ludicrous generalizations like that which enables evil in this world. You are nothing but an apologist for evils doers in this world. That's what happens when one's ingrained moral equivalency dogma of ' All are equal and of the same" blurs all cognitive capabilities and senses to the point where one is incapacitated of deductive reasoning & differentiate between good and bad and everything in-between. You keep proving my point with the baseless absurd rhetoric you keep making. You say' "You don't believe in right or wrong" but spreading goodness to those who would receive it." Yet religion and our laws is all about right and wrong and if you chose not to distinguish between the two, then you are not considered pious moral person or one who can clearly pass judgement on anyone including me yet you do so with careless abandon. And yes you do take OFFENSE to others b/c you have done so with me in your retort. You are actually living a life of denial. News flash we all die, including yourself. No one throughout one's life is above some form of anger, or hate. You would have to be inhuman or a sociopath if you haven't experienced those emotions no matter how much you suppress them which in most cases is more harmful to your health leading to one's demise. And I am proud to OPPOSE evil when & where ever by speaking out against it or in other ways if deemed necessary for the betterment of world rather then be an appeaser or choose to do nothing and be a submissively indifferent person. As Elie Wiesel eloquently stated, " The opposite of love is not hate but INDIFFERENCE!!! I am well aware of dangers of hatred of any kind to one's well being. I studied psychology. Such platitudes you quote but yet so presumptuous of you at the same time, in regards to hate and treating others as you would want to be treated. You assume you know what others think and feel, as if all people's and cultures are same. Well that's a fantasy in your well insulated bubbly world. You may believe all are created in Gods image and all are born pure and that's that, but it's not that simple! There are good and evil forces in this world. Sometimes due to genetics certain individuals have a proclivity to evil and sometimes it's due to hateful ideology which includes religion, although you'll claim it's not what Jesus professed and that he warned us of such exegesis manipulation. Since you choose to not differentiate between right and wrong you are not in any position then to know whats the 'correct' meaning of the Bible. Indeed the Universe is fascinating and not well understood. A lot of that is due in part to the fact that religion in past particularly Christianity in Europe and Islam in Middle East/North Africa/Asia found itself in odds with science and therefore did everything to silence scientists and suppress their findings b/c it contradicted Church, or Islamic unscientific beliefs. Scientists were killed, tortured and excommunicated by religious leaders/authorities throughout the middle ages. Thank goodness for the Enlightenment period in Europe and the rise of secularism. Islam still awaits it's Enlightenment Period. The absurd notion that science has proven God, b/c of sciences inabilities to date to explain specific phenomenon's is as silly today as it was when hominoids contented that eclipses, hurricanes, thunder, fire, meteors and shooting stars was proof positive that God exists. You really haven't advanced at all cognitively if you believe lack of explanation is indeed 'proof' positive of an existent omnipresent figure. Speaking of mushrooms I think you've been eating too many of the hallucinogenic types. As far as U.S and science, thank goodness that U.S.A. was more advanced scientifically then Nazi's, otherwise the world that exists today would be far worse and many more millions would of perished. And thank goodness USA outlasted the Soviet Union with it's space program. I am thankful for that. And as far as Middle East goes, there's been turmoil in that part of the world since it's been inhabited. It's leftists and Islamists who like to sell a bill of goods that the Middle East was relatively peaceful place up until the Western Imperialist countries interfered. I'm glad the USA along with it's coalition forces of NATO are doing all they can to combat evil such as ISIS. However I realize that could backfire and Assad is no better then ISIS yet you omit how Russia is backing him & have interfered directly and indirectly in Middle East for nearly a century. You're some patriot aren't you.
@soliloquyguy6852

Tyler Durden Wrong again. But I believe action is better than inaction in the face of evil. I don't claim that is objective justification at all. No human can be totally objective, but that doesn't preclude one from taking a stance based on real evidence and facts instead of conspiracy theories which you embrace and double standards with your anti Nationalism Anti Americanism beliefs. Probably you're a truther as well. USA has only been around for few hundred years. Sunni's and Shi'ites for example have been at war with each other in Middle East for nearly 1400 years. No you don't believe in imaginary lines (life of denial) but you believe instead in conjured up anti American hate conspiracy theories. That warms your insides now doesn't it. Life is all about cycles, some vicious ones unfortunately but people like you who choose to turn a blind eye to it, only help accelerate the viciousness instead of even attempting to stifle it. Enjoy your life of denial and idealism.

On his journey, Saul approached Damascus. Suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. [Shine bright light - on teacher, not students.] He fell to the ground. He heard a voice speak to him. “Saul! Saul!” the voice said. “Why are you opposing me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus,” He replied. “I am the one you are opposing. Now get up and go into the city. There you will be told what you must do.” [Turn light off.] The men traveling with Saul stood there. They weren’t able to speak. They had heard the sound. But they didn’t see anyone. Saul got up from the ground. He opened his eyes, but he couldn’t see. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind. He didn’t eat or drink anything. - Acts 9:3-9 No drugs

George Foreman has represented something good to me all my life. I remember that he came from a horrible family situation. When I was young I remember the two black athletes with their fists up in the air making a protest statement against the United States. Not George Foreman! In the 1968 Olympics George Foreman carried a little America Flag that he proudly waved. There are very few Heavyweight boxers that have have fought 81 professional fights with 76 wins 68 by Knock Out and had only 5 losses. Then there is George Foreman's testimony here about knowing Jesus Christ as his God. Then there is the George Foreman grill, true American Entrepreneurship. There are very few people like him! I know George and let me tell you, he was a very very angry mean soul prior to his conversion. Look at what happened to George after his astounding experience. Many will doubt what happened to George just like those that doubted what happened to the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus. A person only has to look at what he was and what he became after God reached into His soul and converted his life to see what a miracle this was. By the way, go to Georges church in Houston Texas. It is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to him and after the service look in his eyes and you will understand. God reached into Georges soul and used him to help millions of people believe in themselves. George not only preaches the Gospel, HE LIVES IT. Georges youth center helps so many underpriviledged children and that is the closest thing to his heart. He wants to see children grow up to live good lives. For those of you that keep bringing up Religion, you are wrong, Religion is manmade, Faith is God-made. Religion is to faith what humidity is to air, stuffy and oppressive. George has heard the voice of God and it changed His entire life and the lives of millions of souls, period.

Praise Jesus. Only God could take a man who felt helpless and show him the way to true life.

I do not know what to make of this. I am not a religious man, by any stretch. I love George, and he is not anywhere near eloquent... He did more to sell me on divine intervention/God than anything I have heard in my life. That shit moved me.

God Bless him...You may not believe "The Gospel of Jesus Christ" but you should admire and respect how GOD has brought glory in the life of a man who honors and glorifies GOD... :)

Amen, George! One of my all time favorite boxers and boxing commentators! My understanding is he was fired from HBO for commenting out of frustration about boxing's corrupt judging.
