I love this beautiful man. My fav album by him is “Older”. His voice just takes you on a journey almost out of reality.

I don't know what it is about his songs, but it's like you really feel whatever he was feeling when he wrote it. I think that is a particular gift he had. Beautiful and perfect.

George is my favorite male singer. This song is very deep and the whole album that contains it is beautiful, perfect as George's voice. I miss him. Thanks.

I am still struggling with the idea that he's not with us any more, fortunately his music will stay forever ......still remember the time when my sister brought our first Wham's tape cassette it was a revelation. From that time on, I knew that his music will always be a part of my life. His songs, music, lyric are so full of energy, they help you through rough time, give you comfort, understanding, joy, love In times of need, you will always find the right directions, just listen to George.

This album Is another 'Season' of George's life. George was unable to write at all for fore yrs. Then this album was born. At this time If he hadn't found Kenny, who knows where George would have ended up! ( his words). George also said this was his best & favorite album that he wrote of all time. OLDER is just more of George's magic on the Jazzy side. AWESOME. If you do get, at some time, through the whole album, The last song will break your heart, and comforting at the same time. For me, It's his words directly to us. You will never forget this. LOL, my friend, take care of yourself, & congratulations women of the year. My best always. Till next time.

Always love your reactions to George's videos. I remember George said in an interview that he thought this was his greatest work and he never wanted to be this inspired again , he said he could never write when he was actually going through a painful or tragic event , but only after . outside of Freddie Mercury , there really, in my opinion, isn't a greater artist than George .... both of these men just had something so special about them and i am so glad that we have their music to remember them by .

I'll come right out and say that this album wasn't received as well in the United States because this sound was HIS and his alone at the time. He didn't follow anyone and it was so drastically different from "Faith" that many didn't know what to make of it. This was a maturity to the nth degree. When I heard this in the Virgin store I was practically hanging off the wall with the headphones on. Remember those? LOL I fell in even MORE love with his vocals on this album and song. True masterpiece 25 years "older" this year. You know I LOOOOOOOVE when you pick a great GM song.

George shared the most painful part of himself through this album. He was a selfless writer. Although painful for him it was a treat for his fans. I believe this album still holds a record of spawning six singles released that went into the top three. This album is beyond exceptional.

Some will agree, some will disagree but in my opinion, George Michael is the "King of Pop". George's songs have a deeper meaning.... with George's music you see a constant growth from what a person was, to what a person is and what a person is becoming; this song, "Older" is the perfect example. His vocals are absolutely perfect for whatever song, whatever genre of music he's singing. Personally, I prefer "I Want Your Sex" to "Billie Jean".... "Careless Whisper" over "I Can't Stop Loving You" and "One More Try" over "Stranger In Moscow". Just my opinion.

Loved his ballads. As a ballroom dancer, they are great and atmospheric - except they're too long for social dancers to tolerate if I don't cut them down when I dj. 😔
