The life and times of George Weah, Africa's greatest ever footballer.
Another brilliant documentary from "Football's Greatest" series, this episode captures the trials and tribulations of a player whose indomitable spirit and insatiable desire to nurture and nourish his football talent, led to the summit of the very sport itself - Weah being the only African footballer to ever win the Ballon d' Or (if you don`t count Zidane that is!) - and who used his fame and fortune to better the lives of his fellow Liberians.
George Weah was an incredible combination of pure pace, power and technical ability that would herald the age of a new breed of striker.
Simply put, before Ronaldo (the real one!), Nicolas Anelka, Thierry Henry, or Didier Drogba - there was quite simply and only George Weah - Africa's number one!
He may not have won as many trophies as Drogba, or scored as many goals as Samuel Eto'o, yet he remains the precursor to their very own successes.
Enjoy it all here, Weah' s goals, skills, and that raw unadulterated power as he plies his trade for Monaco, PSG, AC Milan, Chelsea, and the Liberian national team.
