Law enforcement in Georgia have some of the lowest training requirements in the country.
The Institute for Criminal Justice Training Reform finds basic training requirements for law enforcement in Georgia is 408 hours.
For comparison, Tennessee requires a bit more at 480 hours.
The only other state with less training requirements? Hawaii.
