Here I present this video which is a historical document. After the Twin Towers collapsed a few months later I had to travel to New York to promote the album La Salsa es mi Vida. We played at the Club Babalu of Ralph Mercado, this concert was arranged by Ralph Irizarry and we were able to put together the band that recorded my 2001 album, what for a musician in New York is a routine concert for me was a dream come true to be able to play that wonderful musicians in the city where Fania was born. Here I share with you this video, the sound is not very good but the historic moment is worth it, grateful to my brother Robert Quintero who gave me his hand when we had to be there. If you like salsa dura here I leave you this great song arrangement of Alberto Naranjo creator of Trabuco Venezolano, there you will see Luis Perdomo playing tremendous solo with a M1 piano with a sound module, vintage things that are no longer used, by the way the plastic patches were starting, Roberto lent me his congas.
