This verses aren’t come from vocal cord rather from heart! We, bengali fought for this beloved language & sacrifices uncountable lives! We fell heavenly breathe at the time of every piece of bengali pronunciations! ❤️

A tribute to the undying spirit and the rebelling nature that can be found among all Bangladeshi netizens, the song came as a majestic fusion of Salil Chowdhury's 1946-1948 Tebhaga Movement-inspired original song of the same name and Abdul Latif's 1952 Language Movement-inspired song "Ora Amar Mukher Bhasha." "Ora Amar mukher vasha kaira nite chai" - that reminds us the memory of 21st February of 1952. The Pakistan government wanted us to speak in Urdu. That time many writers protest that by their writings. The writer wanted to say: Out father grandfather are taking in Bangla then how would we talk in other language! We don't want to speak in other language.

Guten abend. So I'm kinda rediscovering my Bengali heritage. I moved to Canada when I was 12. I'm 35 now. I've been feeling increasingly alienated in this culture and realized that I was missing my anchor to my home. So I was like a kite in the wind without a string. The reason behind why I'm writing this is just give a quick bit of context about the lyrics of the song. It's a poem actually. Talking about how the harvest in Bangladesh was being taken away by foreign powers. There was an engineered famine and a whole lot of extremely poor people died. This song is about the farmer's revolt about holding onto the blood and sweat that they put into the soil. This comment space is too short to give more detail bit Bangladesh has always been treated as a bread basket but there was no investment given back. Goods were taken freely. This song also talks about how students and teenagers were killed cause they insisted on speaking Bangla even though Urdu was being forced upon us. Related to International Mother Language Day.

Good morning Ms Jola, thank you for your truthful and realistic opinion about Coke Studio Bangladesh and Pakistan. It’s like some people are comparing with 1 year with 14 years kid . Ms Jola can you kindly please give your reaction to another Bangladeshi song , tittle is E- Hawa . It’s a beautiful song . I think you will get it with English subtitles coz one German Rapper Mr . Cojak gave his reaction to this song with subtitles and he loved it . Please give your reactions to this song . We will Miss you Ms Jola 😊😘😘😘🌈🌈💕💕💕💫💫

Actually, the history of Bengal is more than from 4th Century BC! Here the very indigenous people were the tribal Bong..from where the Bengal derived. We have experienced the birth of Buddhism (Lord Buddha was born 700 years ago of Jesus), we have experienced the invasion of Alexander the grate, we have experienced the visiting of Heuen Sung, Ibney Batuta, we have experienced the Muslim colonization in 750/760 AD with the invasion of Hazzaz Bin Yusuf in Indues Valley! Later we have experienced the Sultanate of Turkish and Mughal Dynasty. But the worst nightmare began with the Battle of Palashi in 1757, English Colonial Violence started than, we directly came under the British Empire’s rule from 1857 and went through a lot of struggling and rebellions. The first part of the song reminds us the Santal Rebellion, Hazong Rebellion, when the English government tortured the people of this land with so many kinds of taxes! You will be surprised to hear that the then time, the British rulers enforced a tax on the beard of the sub continental male, who used to keep beard! Later, from the colonial power, Bangladesh being as a part of Pakistan got independence on 14th August 1947. And before the declaration of the Independence by our father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, as East Pakistan, Bangladesh experienced a lot of discrimination in social, culture and economy. In 1952 we got our mother tongue as the state language through a sacrifice of blood. Language Movement, in this world there is no other nation that shade blood for language! Second part shows the spirit of our achievement in language. Thanks

they don't even teach that part of history anywhere what can we expect from the west when our own history isn't taught to us. How many ppl know about the bengali femaine coz it would take away from the glory of world war. The largest delta in the world with one of the most fertile soils we never had femaine in history you can just get the picture by looking at how it was able to sustain a high population unlike any other place.....they starved 4 million bengalies in 1943 in the Bengal province of British India (present-day Bangladesh, West Bengal and eastern India) during World War II, they starved us in order to feed the soldiers of ww2. Winston churchill said "the starvation of anyhow underfed Bengali is less serious than sturdy greeks" he denied to accept and blamed it on quote on quote they were breeding like rabbits....fucking disgusting. the second part was when after the partition of India ...pakistan and Bangladesh were together. They tried to enfore Urdu and take our mother tounge Bengali. It was one but primary out of many oppression (stealing our resources, killing all the intellectuals scientists etc of Bangadesh) they did and language became unlike any other nation in the world became a reason for our liberation. The language movement took a big step when dhaka University student protested. After that Unesco declared 21st february as the international mother language day. This is why says "ora amar mukher vasha kaira nita chay" they want to take away my mother tounge.
