Great video! Everything about it is perfect (voice, camera, speed, etc.) and thank you for using a small sample. I see so many with an enormous amount of stitches and we have to wait way too long for the instructor to work all the way to the other side. Your three center stitches was very adequate and made for an excellent video.

What would you do if you were knitting the heel in a different color than the body of the sock? Is there a way to avoid knitting across the instep during the middle section of the heel?

Because there is stitching across the instep, we can't use a contrasting heel on a sock with the German Short rows or is there a way to do that?

Thank you for your great videos. You make it very easy to understand the techniques. I feel like I'm sitting right next to you getting a private lesson. Last time I attempted to do German short row heels, I ended up with hideous gaps that wouldn't go away no matter how many times I tried, and I gave up. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid gaps? Thanks!
