Beide Videos sind nicht zu lang und nicht langweilig. Ihr zwei bringt es witzig herüber.

living in germany as an english person it surprised me that germans dont queue - they routinely push in and cut in line and nobody says anything. quite infuriating and baffling - i expected germans to be sticklers for orderliness

I found quite the opposite, sounds like you did too.

35 years ago as a French pupil, we were all commuting in Mercedes-Benz top of the range buses. Plushy, fast, comfortable, on time e v e r y single time without one single failure. We could even share turns at giving cassette tapes to the driver and he would play them over the PA system/stereo. When hopping off, most students would say thank you. 2024, UK looking at double deck tin cans that either arrive late, don't arrive at all, and sometimes even don't bother to stop. Once you're in one well, it's Spartan to say the least, hot in summer cold and foggy windows in winter. Congrats about your HS2 being removed by Sunak, while still keeping all the debts of it.

I'm shocked. I did not dare to go on Erasmus to Germany because I thought it will be too perfect for me. After loads of years, I now discover that Germany is quite "normal"

If I'm at the front, I thank the tram driver in Germany. Don't forget also, trying to get served in a busy shop in Germany - no such thing as a queue. There are many things I miss about living in Germany, lack of queuing culture isn't one of them.

Having travelled in Germany by bus, I can say it's VERY disconcerting to have no orderly queue, but just push, push, push! Germans who don't know this are shocked when told angrily GET BACK IN LINE!

There was once a law in the UK which stated people must queue at bus stops. It was eventually repealed because no one had ever been prosecuted under it.

I hated it in the extreme and must confess that eventually I ended up pushing too - but it felt so unnatural.

In Deutschland wird immer noch sehr oft Barzahlung durchgeführt. Eure Videos sind nicht zu lang.

Although not many people like queuing, I would prefer an orderly que, than Claudia's chaotic way. And of course British politeness, technically saying thanks Ladies

I would have thought Germans would have very strict queues, that is surprising. Though i guess if people are getting on by multiple doors it's harder.

They push and they never hold doors open. It is very different there culturally. Oh and they openly stare too and give out dirty looks.
