When I was at Ft. Sill in 2007 I visited Geronimo's grave. I asked Geronimo if I could borrow some of his courage, and if I was killed in Iraq I would find him in the afterlife and return it. Seems silly to think about now, but at the time it made perfect sense!🙏😆

You know what's strange...and very cruel? White people tried to exterminate the People (All Natives), and they did their best, to enslave The Negroes. Then, they turned their sights on their own kind! They do this, for example, through "Forced Compliance"(That is, the I. R. S.). They then proceed to tax you any other way that they can. Then: There's Licensing. You have to have a Licence to drive, you have to have Vehicle Tags, and Registration, plus Vehicle Insurance. If you want to build an addition onto your House, you have to have a Permit. If you want to go Fishing or Hunting, you have to have Licences for those things, too. If you want to fish, for example, for Trout, and you're in a National Forest Area, you have to have a State License, a Trout License, and a National Forest Stamp. It's totally unbelievable, as to how much you and I have to pay through the proverbial nose for stuff! And:If you break one of their little rules and regulations, then you face being fined and/or imprisonment! If you ever saw the movie "Thunderheart", from back in 1992, the Character Jimmy Looks Twice said it best:They kill us, because they can't break our Spirit. There's a way to live with Earth, and there's a way, NOT to live with Earth. It's all about power"!!!

The Indians had the right idea they had respect for the land the animals and nature something that the white man has not had. People in our country have destroyed their environment with greed and the worship of money. Nobody thinks of the animals not having any where to go because of the buildings and the depletion of their environment but the Indians were very mindful

Interesting and informative. Excellent photography job making it easier for viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Historians did a very good job presenting actual facts from fiction. Class A research project. Special thanks to the apache relatives who donated their time/knowledge speaking of the hand me down stories. Making this documentary possible!!!

Maybe, but maybe bc The Seminole Tribe was not a historically established Tribe... As in they were a mix of several different tribes and even some ruin away slaves in Florida and some white fugitives outlaws etc... But you're right about The Seminoles being insanely hard to track down and catch!! Lol Like Ghosts they were i would imagine... I'm from Florida, and I know how difficult the terrain can be here! The Seminoles could probably lead you into the wilderness and then encircle you and then kill you! Crazy times 😳🤯👍✌️✌️✌️

As a young student at Riverside Indian in the 1960s school one summer we were taken to Ft. Sill to tour the place. We witnessed the cell where he was imprisoned. Inside his cemented cell, the floor was cemented also. A round circle on the cemented floor showed his path of relentless walking in that circle. That site had a profound stunning effect on my young mind to this day. Today I am a Numunu great grandmother who lives nearby Ft. Sill.

its not your fault, its the shit system forced upon us, this is a european system created by the elite, churches, kings & queens, dictators to enslave the people by taxing them & the way they do it is by stealing their lands from them then taxing them to live on them . Geronimo & the native tribes were free people also in europe there were free people living in a sysyem called Comunal or comon grounds for all, & the shit system has always tried to destroy it thats why there is goverment police army religeons to keep everyone controlled and taxed like modern slaves, where do you find El Comunal ? or Comon Grounds ? The goverment stoled all the land from the people, so its hard to find but the further away from the big cities in rural areas is where you find it. Some places in the basque country have Comunal, in mexico some natives have changed gotten away for the fake politics shit system and went back to the old ways of self governed. Local unity like the pueblo self governed system. They dont need someone miles away exploiting them. My heart breaks when l see how the goverment follows orders to do crimes agains humanity and nobody can stop them. l wish we where all like Geronimo because this Shit System Gots to Go

Lozen was the sister of Victorio and she was very famous, because she fought with the warriors, and she was able to locate the enemy with outstretched hands and singing a prayer! She was aswell a famous horsebreaker and she escaped with Geronimo and his warriors! It's sad, that she is not mentioned in this video! In the photo with Geronimo and his warriors it's said, that it is very likely, that she is the one a bit right behind him, with the hair in one half side of her face! It's a great injustice what happened with the native people, but if anyone of you who is reading this, don't think, that all Europeans are the same! Here in Europe, I'm writing from Germany, you all are in high regard! Always connected with courage, wisdom, taking care of nature and being very proud! It's true! Never give up, take no drugs and try to take from every day the best! In government of Biden is a native woman who takes care for the Natives! Just tell her your problems, and demonstrate for your rights! I believe that there must be a possibility to get money for your former land, maybe you can find a lawyer who will fight for your rights! I wish you all the best! 🌄❤️

There's a true story of a woman, taken as a young girl into the Indian way of life, her family always tried to get her back, they succeeded in recapturing her, took her back "home", she found her way back to " her people" the Indians where she stayed. The brutality against the Indians is heartbreaking!
